Nothing's the same, it's been one week since I talked to Mahir. His words keep ringing in the back of my mind. I can imagine him while saying those words, sly smile across his lips, weakness but still the mischievousness on his face, that makes me blush every single time. Zahra still doesn't know about Mahir meeting my parents and also, he didn't give me an explanation as to why he was at my place without informing me. I deserved to know, atleast. Weather's been so pleasant and I'm here in my office, immersed in my work. I need to head out soon when a notification on my phone grabs my attention. It's Zahra, finally reaching out. She wants to meet me at my office, but to my surprise, she's running quite late.

Zee- "Where are you?"

Me- "At the office, as you said madam. When are you coming? I've been waiting for so long."

Zee- "Sorry, we'll meet tomorrow. Can't wait to see you!"

Me- "What? You kept me waiting for almost an hour and now you're saying that we'll meet tomorrow? What's going on? Are you alright?" A mix of anger, then worry consumes me. Phew, This girl! Three dots dance on my screen, disappear, then appear... This happens for almost 5 times before I can finally see her reply that doesn't satisfy my curiosity, rather confuses me.

Zee- "I'm extremely sorry, I'm caught up with something else. Now please go! It's almost time!"

Me- "Almost time for??"

Zee- "My mistake (forehead smacking emoji)"

Me- "Whatever, I'm not going to meet you tomorrow. Bye!"

Zee- "You will ;) Goodnight sweetheart."

I won't. I thought to myself. She knows that my anger doesn't even last for a second. I grab a coffee on the way home. The air was pleasantly cool, and the sky, adorned with clouds, added to the charm of the weather that I thoroughly enjoyed. As I reached home, I saw a new car standing in the parking lot. It was pretty old, with some weird color that gave me creepy vibes. I quickly gathered all my belongings from the passenger seat and left. Juggling my bag, coffee, some files, and regretting not wearing my coat downstairs, I huffed as I placed everything on a table near the front door without looking up.

While fishing out my keys from my bag, something caught my eye. Looking up, I discovered a sticky note on the door. It was folded, concealing its contents. Curiosity overwhelmed me, and I hesitated, unsure of what to expect. Using my index finger, I gingerly unfolded the note to reveal its contents, all the while feeling a lack of positive vibes from the situation.

'Welcome home. Been waiting for this day for so long.'

A small, cute bouquet of sunflowers was lying on the table. I loved them the moment my eyes landed on those pretty flowers. I grinned to myself, this must be Mahir. Eagerly unlocking the door, I swiftly placed everything on the living room sofa. Seated comfortably, I found myself repeatedly reading a simple yet heartwarming note, a sentence that never failed to bring a smile to my face. It was almost 9.30 now, half an hour since I got home. I got up, and my eyes fell on a cute, small teddy bear sitting just in front of the Tv screen. It has a tiny, fluffy red heart in its hands, something written on it but concealed by another sticky note on it. Carefully, I placed the first note I got near my bag and reached for the cute little bear. I flicked open the note to see the contents and see them yourself:

'If you reached here, text me a heart if you're eager to continue and

stay quiet if you don't want this anymore.'
