CHAPTER 3

Abington Pennsylvania, a small town where there are exactly 3,367 people, where everyone knows each other.
After two weeks of that party in the forest the news spread fast, all the newspapers in the village had the same headline.

"Young man is killed by animal attack!"

The panic did not take long to arrive, people began to go to the sheriff's Office for more answers, even the same people gathered to go out into the forest to look for that animal to hunt it.
However, the news was quickly forgotten with the new novelty for the town, the new school year; after three months of vacations that for me had been a week since I don't remember a single day of these, if that usually happens when all you did on vacation was drink and party.
But with the new school year a new me would be born, from today I would leave behind the Harper of the last 3 months, during the last 2 weeks I didn't drink a single drop of alcohol and I also didn't go out to parties a big part was because I didn't want to worry grandma or Derek about how things were in the village but another part was because I wanted to get out of the pit in which I found myself.

- It's 7:30, get up or we won't make it!- Isobel woke me up by banging on my bed.

Without saying a word I just jumped out of my bed, took the first thing I saw in my closet, went into the bathroom to change while, I was feeling disoriented I was a little rusty from this routine.
When I came down the stairs I noticed that Grandma had made a delicious breakfast which I could only see as Derek and Isobel were waiting in the car.

"Don't even think about it," Derek said when he noticed how he was watching breakfast.

I just responded by making a complaining face.
on the way out I took my jacket and my bag which were hanging on the coat rack.

- You know what the alarm clock next to your bed works for, right?- Derek said with a sarcastic tone.

I just replied - How funny - while they were laughing.

- When your classes are over, call me to come get you, I don't want you to walk around alone - Derek told us before we got out of the car.

- Anything else, Dad?- Answered Isobel.
To which I just let out a laugh mocking Him.

Isobel was one year lower than me, when she was 17 and I was 18, although this year she was going to be my classmate, not because I failed but because being so smart she was advanced one year, Something else she inherited from mom, not only her orange hair, but also the incredible intelligence.
That's why we've never been so close since her being the perfect lady and me being the disaster of the family has made our bonds not so strong.
All the way to the living room we said absolutely no words.
We arrived just in time After so many months we returned to Abington High School. Before opening the door the doorbell rang, I pushed the door to open and the teacher was already at his desk, I started looking for an empty seat...It had to be a joke, there were exactly two empty seats next to the New students and luckily for me these were none other than the same Hunter Blackwood and Rowan Harrison, the idiots of the party.

"You've got to be kidding me," I said muttering sitting down next to Hunter.

- Isn't it nice to see us, bunny?-
Rowan said, chuckling.

- Bunny girl? What kind of nickname is that asshole - I replied annoyed.

"Apparently he's not happy to see us Rowan," Hunter said with a slightly mischievous smile.

- Exactly!Finally you say something
Coherent-Resonate.

Without saying anything I just turn his head away from me looking at the blackboard.
