CHAPTER 4

When I got home after school, I was in my room all afternoon thinking about how I would go to that party, The last few months no one cared if I left the house or not, but now with everything that was happening in the village all those unexpected deaths, since apparently Jaden was not the only one, they had made Derek and Grandma forbid us to leave after eight eh they even hid the keys to the door at that time, and the party was at ten.
Like every rebellious teenager I was not going to respect that and miss the party where I could annoy Hunter a little more, so after thinking about all the possible ways to run away from home without anyone noticing, I had it, the best and easiest way to do it.

I came out of my room already dressed, squatting carefully checking that the doors of Derek and Grandma's room were closed, noticing that it was so I entered Isobel's room.

- Are you asleep?- Ask since I couldn't see anything because of the darkness.

I made a little jump when Isobel appeared next to me saying no.

- By God you almost killed me with a heart attack- I complained.

And as usual just Rio.

- Follow me and don't do anything of
noise - I said

I slipped down the side of his bed opening the window checking to see if he was following me.

- Are we going to jump around?- I ask scared.

"If you want to break your legs jump," I replied sarcastically.

"You just follow me," I said.

I passed through the window holding on to the wall while walking through the narrow molding of the house, when I felt the air in my hair my body was destabilizing and I felt how my legs began to shake, with just a few more steps I jumped to the roof of the garage which was lower from which I could easily get down to the floor.
I turned to see Isobel and noticing the terror in her look apparently she was scared of heights I just said

- You have 20 seconds to do it-

I started the countdown and started walking towards the street, so I forget her fears and she did it quickly, she almost fell into the narrow moldings but it didn't happen.

"It wasn't that difficult," she said, laughing nervously.

I just smiled...this time I had taken Mom's car keys so we wouldn't have to walk because the cemetery was a little far away. Cautiously I took the car out and trying not to knock down the fence we got out.

When I arrived the first thing I thought of was my mother, the last time we were here was at her funeral, I turned to see Isobel and noticed the sadness in her look.

- Okay..Let's enjoy - I said as we got out of the car.

Just when we entered there were some guys who offered us a beer, we accepted it since we need to distract ourselves a little. I closed my eyes and drank it as if it were water, when I opened it Isobel was gone but I could tell how far away she had gone with Susan, one of her friends.

- Glad you came sister-in-law-
Alice said behind me with a smile that seemed almost fake.

-Sister-in-law?- Ask puzzled

- Yes - He replied

"I don't know what you're talking about," I said laughing.

"Apparently you fell in love with my two brothers," he said without stopping smiling.

"I'm just warning you that having those two guys behind you, it can be very problematic," he said erasing the smile.

-I thought only Rowan was your brother - I asked confused.
