Rocky, again? Seriously? This was starting to form into a bad habit. Cain had been hanging around the park, enjoying the nature, looking at the strange white bunnies that’d probably cause more than a scratch, but then Rocky appeared out of absolutely nowhere. Now, Cain didn’t hate Rocky, he enjoyed his presence enough. But, he was overwhelming, and overbearing at the worst. Cain had been joined by Bram at the beginning, but he had to go run some errands, so Cain was left on his lonesome. Well, wolfsome now. Maybe? Cecelia was with him, so I guess that doesn’t work. Which sucks because Cain thought it's clever.
“Hiiii, Cain!!” Rocky greeted, zooming over to the park bench he was sitting at. Cain sighed internally when Rocky sat down beside him, as he was expecting a relatively causal afternoon. But, no matter, it’s too late now. Cecelia seemed to share the opinion that the common encounters were just as annoying, as she seemed less than pleased to see where Rocky ran to when she finally came up the hill. She was probably wondering the same thing as Cain at that moment, ‘how many times has he done that just this week?’. And the answer? They didn’t know, because they didn’t keep track. Despite Cecelia AND Cain’s somewhat obvious annoyance, Rocky was still obliviously staring down at Cain, smiling. Cecelia rolled her eyes, sitting down beside Cain and going back to messing with her phone.
“Are you the type of person to go to a park just for an Instagram post?” Cain blurted out on accident, not entirely wanting to say what he just said… Our loud. “I have no idea what that is. But I’m doing important stuff here! Somebody messed up the school's paper, and now half of the students think there’s a troll in the bathrooms,” Cecelia said, looking up at Cain. “Why is that your problem?” Cain questioned, occasionally glancing back at Rocky every few seconds; he didn’t seem to be doing much, however, especially after getting distracted by a butterfly. “I practically run the school's paper, I’m like, unofficial official leader,” Cecelia said, having a tone of superiority laced with her voice. “… Right, uhm, you do know there IS a troll in the bathroom, right??” Cain awkwardly informed, making Cecelia go a little blank. “… What–” She muttered. “Uh, yeah, I don't know how it got there, but…” She thought for a moment, looking down at the text conversation she was having. “Probably shouldn’t have told Battrick to go in there for photographic proof there WASN’T, then–” She awkwardly typed out a little message, then set her phone down. “… Is he going to be–” Cecelia cut him off quickly. “He’ll be fine–”
Definitely trying to convince herself and Cain at the same time. “What’re you doing here, by the way?” She asked, crossing her arms. “Oh, I came to hang out with a friend, but he had to go run some errands.” Cain said, pulling out his phone. “And then it got really boring. Normally, I’d just mess around with my phone for a while, BUT, it’s busted,” He groaned. “What’s wrong with it?” Rocky asked, snapping his attention back over to Cain and Cecelia. “It’s stuck on this weird, freaky rainbow thing,” Cain powered it on, showing them both. It took a few minutes for Rocky to understand, but Cecelia understood the second she saw it. “Oh, right, you’re new in town,” She muttered to herself. “It’s not busted,” She briefly explained, making Cain regain a glimmer of hope. “It’s not!?” He exclaimed. “No, our town just have a single cellphone provider and any other ones get that lock when you enter without one from Bzztburton Prime, because he’s kinda egotistical,”
Cain looked down at his phone, before whipping back to Cecelia. “Wait, who???” He said, confused. “Yeah, I know, it’s odd,” She laughed. “He’s, like, a tech mogul,” Cain put his phone back in his pocket, standing up. “Does he have a bunch of stores, or? Could you take me to one, so I can get it working?” Rocky popped up, nodding. “Of course!!” He said. “I didn’t agree to escorting him!” She said, sitting up. “Well, you don’t have to come!” Rocky shrugged a little, before she sighed. “No, I’m coming– Bzztburton can be… Strange,”
