The dim light of Jirou's dorm room cast a soft glow, making the space feel warm and inviting. Y/N stood nervously by the door, her heart racing as she contemplated everything that had transpired in the past week. The walls were adorned with posters of bands and music notes, a reflection of Jirou's personality, but tonight, they felt more like a sanctuary for the tumult of emotions swirling inside her.

Jirou glanced up from her guitar, the familiar sight of her smile easing Y/N's tension. "Hey, you made it!" she said, setting the instrument aside.

"I was starting to think you'd changed your mind and ran off to Akashi again." she jokes.

Y/N stepped inside, closing the door behind her. "No way. I needed to talk to you," she said, forcing a smile despite the nerves gnawing at her. "It's just been... a lot."

Jirou nodded, sensing the weight in Y/N's voice. "I get it. Want to sit?" She gestured toward the bed, where scattered sheets of music lay.

Taking a seat, Y/N felt the familiar warmth of Jirou's presence wash over her. "So, I... I broke up with Akashi," she started, the words feeling heavier than she expected.

Jirou's expression softened. "I know. You told me earlier, but how are you feeling about it now?"

Y/N took a deep breath, the reality of the breakup still fresh. "Honestly? I feel a bit lost. I thought it would be easier, but it hurts more than I expected. I feel guilty for how it all ended."

"Y/N, you did the right thing," Jirou reassured her, her voice steady. "You can't stay in a relationship just because you feel obligated to someone. You deserve to be happy."

"I know, but I still feel like I've hurt him," Y/N admitted, biting her lip. "He didn't deserve that, and now I'm worried about what happens next."

"What happens next is up to you," Jirou replied softly. "You have a chance to explore what you really want. And if that's with me..." She trailed off, her eyes searching Y/N's face for a response.

Y/N felt her heart race at Jirou's words, a mix of excitement and apprehension flooding her senses. "That's the thing, Jirou. I want to be with you, but I'm scared. I don't want to rush into anything, especially not after everything with Akashi."

Jirou moved closer, her gaze unwavering. "I get that. Rushing into things can be overwhelming. But we can take our time. I just need to know how you feel."

"I feel... drawn to you," Y/N confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "There's this connection between us that I can't deny. It's like every time I'm with you, everything else fades away. But at the same time, I'm terrified of what that means."

"Why are you scared?" Jirou asked gently, her eyes filled with understanding. "Is it because of Akashi, or is it something else?"

"Both, maybe," Y/N admitted. "I'm worried about how quickly things changed. One minute I was with Akashi, and now I'm here, wanting to be with you. It feels so wrong, but also so right."

Jirou reached out, her hand resting on Y/N's. "You don't have to feel guilty for wanting to explore this. Life is messy, and feelings can be complicated. What matters is how you feel about me."

Y/N's heart raced at Jirou's words, her pulse quickening as she contemplated the intensity of their situation. "I don't care what anyone thinks. I want to be with you."

"Then why not?" Jirou asked, a hint of teasing in her voice. "You've just broken up with someone; you're free now. What's holding you back?"

Y/N smiled at the challenge in Jirou's eyes. "You make it sound so easy, but I don't want to rush into something and mess it up."

"I'm not saying we should jump headfirst into a relationship," Jirou replied, her tone serious. "But if you're feeling something for me, we should at least explore it. You deserve happiness, Y/N."

Y/N took a moment to absorb Jirou's words. The weight of her past relationship was still there, but in Jirou's presence, it felt lighter. "You're right," she said finally. "I don't want to hide how I feel anymore."

Jirou's face lit up with a smile, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "So, what are we waiting for?"

"I don't know," Y/N admitted, biting her lip as her heart raced with uncertainty and thrill. "But I'm tired of overthinking it. I want to enjoy being with you, no matter what that looks like."

"Good," Jirou said, moving closer. "Let's start with this, then."

Before Y/N could process what was happening, Jirou leaned in and pressed her lips against hers, the warmth of the kiss igniting a spark that coursed through Y/N's body. It felt right, everything now felt right.

The kiss deepened as they lost themselves in each other, and for a moment, the world outside faded away. Y/N felt a rush of exhilaration mixed with the lingering guilt of her past, but Jirou's presence anchored her. This was different; it was real and electrifying.

As they pulled away, breathless, Y/N looked into Jirou's eyes, which were filled with a mixture of affection and mischief. "Wow, that was... nice."

"Nice?" Jirou teased, a playful smirk on her lips. "Just nice?"

Y/N laughed, the tension easing from her shoulders. "Okay, it was amazing."

"Good to know," Jirou said with a grin. "So, are we really doing this?"

Y/N felt a flutter of excitement in her chest. "Yeah, I think we are."

"Great. Then let's not overthink it," Jirou said, her fingers intertwining with Y/N's. "We can take it slow. Just enjoy being together."

"Sounds perfect," Y/N replied, feeling lighter than she had in days. The weight of her breakup still lingered, but in Jirou's presence, she felt the possibilities stretching out before her.

As they settled into a comfortable silence, Y/N knew there would be challenges ahead, but she felt ready to face them with Jirou by her side. She was done caring about what others thought; she wanted to follow her heart, and right now, it was leading her to Jirou.
