Robin got up and ran into the living room. Beast Boy was dumbfounded at the screen. Everyone came running in. "I couldn't sleep and..." He couldn't finish. Everyone looked at the screen. It was four in the morning. "We call the shots." The Alien said getting back at what Cyborg said. He slit a little girl's throat. Starfire's eyes lit up and she screamed. Robin grabbed her in his arms. She shrieked. "A person will die everyday until the princess is turned in." With that the TV shut off. Adena dropped to her knees and Speedy leaned down and put his hand on her cheek. Raven gasped and ran to Beast Boy. She wrapped her arms around him. Cyborg put his hands over his head and grunted. Starfire's continuous screams haunted everyone. Raven shook in Beast Boy's arms and he held in tears and shaky grunting noises came from his throat. Adena was hysterically crying and Speedy shut his eyes tight and rocked as he held her. Starfire was screaming and clenching Robin's shirt. "What are we gonna do?" Cyborg asked. He was on the floor with his hands on his head. "We are not turning her in." Robin made clear. "I know that. I would never do that. We can't let more people die." Cyborg pointed out. "Because of me. The fault is mine." Starfire said. "No, Star." Robin said longingly. "It is." She said stronger. "This is not your fault." Robin stated. "Don't say that." He said with a tear and held her close.
Everything was quiet for the longest time. "I have to use the restroom." Starfire said and walked to the hallway where the bathroom was. She didn't go to the bathroom. She went into Raven's room since it was the closest. She wrote a note and flew out the window.
"I am the princess of Tameran!" Starfire yelled from outside the Gemeron ship. The door opened and two Gemerons in uniform stepped out and put her in handcuffs. A single tear escaped her eyes. They escorted her inside.
"Starfire! Are you okay? Come out of there!" Robin yelled from the bathroom door. She locked it before she left and turned the light on so it looked like she was inside. "Star!" Robin yelled. "No." Raven gasped as she walked out of her room. "What's wrong?" Robin asked her. Raven handed him the note.
"Dear friends,
I cannot be the cause of anymore deaths. I have decided to turn myself into the Gemeron army. I will find a way to notify Tameran, and I will find a way back. I promise. I couldn't endanger you any longer.
With love, Starfire."
"No." Robin gasped. "We have to go get her!" He said and ran out the door. "We can't!" Adena set the door on fire. "Put it out!" Robin screamed. "It's not gonna hurt the door but it will hurt you! Come look." Adena said. Robin turned to see the Gemeron's on screen. "If we see any Teen Titan leave the tower the Tameranian dies." The commander warned. Robin slammed his fist on the wall and sank to his knees. Adena put her hand down and the fire vanished without a sign of it being there.
