Waking up to my neck killing me is not how I wanted to start off this break. But I guess that's what happens when you stay up all night talking to your bestfriends as we pack just enjoying each others company again like we used to before everything went to shit and then falling asleep on the floor of your hardwood floored living room. I sit up groaning seeing them on the couch. Lucky bastards. I stand up and go to the kitchen to cook breakfast. Bzzz! I take my phone out of my pocket and immediately smile.

Baby💍: we're still doing this right?
Me: ofc Maira said she set everything up
Baby💍: good I'm excited I can't wait to actually be able to touch you
Me: it's all I've been thinking about this whole month
Baby💍: see you there I love you
Me: I love you more

"I cannot wait to get to California man." Lucas says coming into the kitchen.

I smile at him. His skin is glowing again and his eyes have gone back down. "Me too."

He smiles. "Mhmm you're excited to be with Verena again." I blush. "She's still coming right?" I nod.

"Yeah she just texted me actually. Lucas I'm bout to spend thanksgiving with my girlfriend well my ex. I don't really know what we are." We are still not officially back together. We know it will only make it more difficult if we are because we're going to want to express it.

"You're in love, that's all that matters. Not the label." Maira says wrapping her arms around Lucas laying her head in his back.

"Exactly. You two know what it is. And hopefully it'll make these 6 months feel like nothing." I nod. I haven't told them my plan well no one knows what it is, not even Verena. I just want this ex situation to be done first so we can actually be happy about it. For now I'm just going to enjoy spending our first holiday together.

I slide them their food and then plate my own and we eat. "Hey guy!" Tyson yells coming in the kitchen fully dressed. "You guys look like shit." He says and we laugh not denying. "Look finish eating and get dressed so I can take you to the airport." He says and we nod and then he leaves. I slightly sigh at my brother still so far out of the loop of everything and I hate it but he loves me so much and I just hope he'll be happy with my decision.

We all finished our food and are now getting ready to leave. We're going to California so I put on baby blue graphic basketball shorts, a white short sleeve tshirt and my white air forces with my silver chains and rings. I pack everything else according to Mairas plan and to say I'm excited just based off clothes is showing with the huge smile on my face. I head downstairs with my duffel bag and see Lucas in a big black tee with oversized denim jeans and his own air forces. And Maira is in a black crop top with wide legged denim jeans and jeans to match him. "You guys make me sick." I say jokingly and they chuckle.

"Alright ready to go?" Tyson asks and we nod and we head out to his car and towards the airport.

30 minutes later

"Is this right Maira?" Tyson asks as we pull up but instead of the usual terminal drop off we're pulling into the private airfield.

I look at her and her smile is bright. "It is just pull into there." She says pointing towards a hanger. What the hell is going on? When we pull in, there's a private jet already in it.

"Maira?" I call her but she's typing in her phone. We stop and our mouths just open in shock. We get out the car and see the pilot standing by the entrance as he smiles at us.

"Ms. Johnson, it's a pleasure to see you again." He says to Maira.

She smiles. "Thanks Michael. These are my friends. Is our other friend on already?" She asks and he nods subtly and she winks at me as I look confused.

I turn to Tyson who is still just staring at the plane. "Well I'll see you next Sunday." I say and he nods.

"Take plenty of pictures and please enjoy yourself. It might do you good to get out of here for a minute." You have no idea.

I smile. "Right. I love you."

He smile and we hug. "I love you too. Have fun." He says and we get on the plane with me getting on last.

"That's your seat Talia." Maira says as Lucas and her take their seats next to each other. I nod and turn my head to the right to see Verena smiling up at me.

"Verena?" She nods happily and I lean down quickly to hug her and she laughs in my ear and my heart swells at the sound and the smell of mint on her hair. It's really her. "How are you here right now?"

"After Maira convinced you to tell me to come, she told me the whole plan." I tilt my head still confused as she caresses my face.

"This is my mom's plane. She's letting us use it now that she's back in town. It comes with top security which ensures we're not followed and the reports of our destination is off the record. So her ex won't know where she is." Maira says and I smile gratefully at her.

"Thank you Maira." I say and she smiles and then snuggles up with Lucas. I turn back to look at the beautiful woman next to me. "God you're beautiful." I breathe out as I take her in. She's wearing a white off the shoulder ruffled crop top that shows off her tanned skin and toned stomach with black high waisted jeans with open toe strapped heels.

She blushes. "Thank you baby. You look breathtakingly gorgeous. Blue is a sexy color on you." She says as she's plays with my chains and rubbing her hands up and down my neck making me lick my lips wanting nothing more than to kiss her as I look at hers.

"This is your Captain speaking. I am aware that we have underage passengers on board but I won't tell your mom if you won't." He says over the intercom and then flight attendants come with glasses of champagne which Verena and Maira take gladly. I watch as her lips lay on the glass. Lucky.

"Baby you know you can just kiss me, you don't have to stare." She says and I meet her eyes and she's looking at me. I lean in cupping her face and take her lips onto mine softly and I hum in content and grab the other side of her face to deepen it missing how her lips feel after a whole month of not being able to have them. She smiles and we pull back. "I've miss you too." She says and I peck her lips.

"I've missed you so much. Are you excited?"

She nods with her eyes bright. "Yes very. I already know what we're doing so I'm even more excited. California is beautiful this time of year."

"I could look at you the entire trip and be happy with it." She blushes at my words and grabs my chin pulling me back in for a kiss I happily reciprocate.

"There's a room in the back if you guys want privacy." Maira says and we look at each other.

"You want to go?" I ask her and she nods. I stand up and grab her hand and we go to the back. We walk into the room and it's an actual room. Damn rich people. She lays down on the bed and I just look at her as her hair is over her like a halo.

"Come here baby. I haven't slept by your side in forever." I smile brightly knowing I was thinking the same thing. I crawl onto the bed and lay back so she can lay her head in my chest and tangling our legs together. She takes a deep breath and then relaxes. "God I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too. I've missed you being in my arms baby." I feel her cheeks fill from a smile. "You tired baby?" She nods. "Let's sleep."

"I love you Talia."

How I've missed those words coming from her lips. "I love you too Verena."
