Eternal Frozen Love

Chapter 2

As I make my way to mom's room, I hear sobbing coming from inside. I go inside and see my mom crying and my dad hugging her whiles comforting he. I panick and go closer to them, "Mom ,dad, what's going on, why are you crying mom?"I sit on the bed beside them and hold my mom's hand.Tears start to form in my eyes, "Mom please tell me what's wrong."

"My dear, we're very sorry we can't........"my mom says and dad cuts her off saying, "Talia,no." whiles shaking his head.I look at them confused. "Mom, dad, you guys are confusing me, what really is going on. Why are you guys always hiding things from me. Mom?, please tell me." 

"Lily, just promise me you'll take good care of your brother, ok? "mom says as tears stroke down her cheeks. "I know, I'll always take care of him, don't worry." I say softly as she hugs me tightly.

         *Phone rings*

My dad picks up his phone and says to the other person, "Pls sir we... we need some more time..pls sir..." * call cuts*    "Honey, was it ....." mom asks. " Mmm, that was him." dad says . " What are we gonna do now" mom says. Then dad looks at me with worried eyes, "baby, dad needs a little favor." Sure, anything" I say. "I need you to run away from here with your brother, is not safe here, ok?" he says caressing my head. " But dad..."I say confused.

"Pls, do not argue now, just do it.It's for your on safety, ok?, leave now before they come, we don't have much time left." dad says. "They?,who are 'they'?" I ask. "JUST LEAVE NOW!" dad shouts at me,perhaps for the first time. I can't help it, I end up crying.  "Baby Lily, you know we love you so much and your brother so help us take care of him, ok?. You have to leave now." mom says as she cries. "But mom...." "Shh, don'y say anything, just go safely. I love you baby Lily" she hugs me so tightly, kissing my forehead while caressing my cheeks. " I love you too mom." I say. Then dad also hugs us both.

"Ok, I'll leave now, I promise to protect Nicky all my life." I say. ' I trust you, Lily." dad says kissing my forehead. " here, it's some money for you, take it and go to the city. The city is much more safe and far from here, take the bus and settle in the city, the New York City." dad hands me the money. " we will definitely meet each other again, my daughter." he says and hugs me. " Take good care of yourself and your brother, ok?" "Ok, dad, I promise."

I look over at mom who was still crying, then I hug her again and we cry together " oh, mom" I say choking on my tears. " My baby Lily, take care. Mom loves you" she says and kisses my forehead for the last time and I hug her again. I let go and dad pushes me out, I stand at the door and look at them," Mom Dad, pls be safe and come see us soon." don't worry about us, we'll come look for you when the time is right, now go. Dad says and I finally get a hold of myself and run downstairs.

I see my brother and I hold his hand then drag him out, running as fast as I can to catch up with the bus going to the city.I glance at my hometown once more then get in the bus with Nicky.

            * In Talia's room  *

Talia: Tom do you really think we can see them again?

Tom: Hmm, I'm not sure,*sighs, goes to her and hugs her.

Talia: Tom, I'm really scared for my babies. What if they find Lily?

Tom: They won't, no matter what they do.

Talia:*sighs* I hope they will both be fine in the city.

  Then they hear shuffling and rustling coming from downstairs to their room.

Tom: I guess this is it.

Talia:*cries* I love you Tom

Tom: I love you Talia. * he leans in and kisses his wife for probably the last time*

  Then 'they' barge in with weapons.
