Chapter 14

" Call Aaron in." I say coldly

" Ok" Derick says and goes out.
Rica comes to sit beside me at my desk.

" Boss, Aaron is here." Derick says as he comes with Aaron.

" Boss, you called for me." Aaron says and gestures to sit.

" Did I say you could sit?" I say coldly.

" Sorry Boss" he says apologetically bowing slightly.

I get up, walk around the desk and stand in front of him to intimidate him. I lean on desk and put my hands inside my pockets.

I see him tremble, I smirk at him.

" S-sir, I-is something wrong?"He says looking down.
" Relax Aaron. I'm not going to eat you."
He still had his head down which infuriated me a little.

" Look at me when I'm talking to you" I say coldly.

He looks up at me with fearful eyes.

" Aaron, tell me. Are you afraid of me ?" I say intentionally.

" I- I don't.. I- I mean.., you're my boss so I fear you."he says trembling and I laugh slightly.

" Really?" I say

" Y-yes" he says

" Hmm, if you say so." I say and go back to sit in my chair and cross my legs, looking at him intensely.

I see him swallow hard and sweat already forming on his forehead.
I hadn't even started and he was scared. Tsk, he will regret betraying me.

"Derick, start." I say

Rica walks around me and stands at my back massaging my shoulders. I groan a little.

" You like it?" She says in my ears.

" Just continue." I say closing my eyes as she massages me.

" ok boss" Derick says as he flips through the document.

" What is going on?" Aaron says

" Just say the truth and go with the flow." I say with my eyes closed.

" O-ok" he says

"* clears throat* Mr. Aaron Bills, you have been investigated thoroughly and we found out that you have been  secretly working with Dales industry behind our backs." Derick says in a detective tone.

I see him tremble with fright and he says, " I-I don't know what you're talking about."

I laugh coldly, " Aaron, I thought you said you would be honest and tell the truth?" I say

" Y-yes, I am telling the truth." He says

" Hmm, Derick continue" I say

" Mr. Bills, you have been working for Dales industry for a full year if I'm correct?" Derick says

" N-no. Is all a lie. Are you trying to frame me?" He says and I find him stupid and funny.

" You were caught on camera when you visited Dales industry and took the bribe from them" Linda says showing us the photo.

" B-boss, please don't believe these people. You know how important my job is to me, why would I betray you?" He says pleading.

" I also thought so too but I guess money is always the answer to you." I say looking at him with cold eyes.

" Not only did he take bribes, he was also involved in the scandal of  the late vice president of the managing department. He did this so he could get rid of him so that his post as the senior manager would have been his, right?, Mr.Bills?" Derick says and Aaron trembles.
