So he was actually a CEO?!
No wonder people feared him so much.

" Oh I get it now." I say

We decend the stairs.
" I'm heading to the office now. Prepare their breakfast for them now" he says to the maids

" Ok sir" the maids say.

" ok, then." Then he turns to me, "I'll be going. Remember I said I'm leaving my house in your care." He says sarcastically

I roll my eyes at him, " I know, I know."

* no one needs you here anyway.*
I say slightly

" What did you say?" He says looking at me

" Oh nothing, I just said be careful on your way." I lied, as if I cared about him.
" At least you have some conscience to care about me" he says intentionally pissing me off.

" Y-you, tsk, you're just testing my patience. I won't give in to you." I say

" Hmm, we'll see about that.

Then he walked out.
Then the maids finished with breakfast and Nicky came down and joined me in eating.
We were done with the food when the girl named Stella walked to me with Kate.

" Miss, how was breakfast? Was it to your liking?" Kate asked with a respectful tone.

" Yes it really is good." I say

" Ok we'll wash up then" then Kate starts to take out the plates

" Stella, come help me out" Kate says

"Why should I help you when this person isn't even our master. She looks like a village girl who just came to the city. What right does she have to use us as her maids? Ridiculous." Stella says so sarcastically.

Was she referring to me? But I haven't even talked to her before but why was she giving me this attitude?

" Stella, how can u say that? Don't forget Sir told us she's also our master. What if she reports u to Sir? Do you think you'd still get ur job?" Kate says

" Whatever, at least Miss Erica is so far better than this b* tch. Miss Erica is from a prestigious home and so well mannered.
She's fit to be with our Sir's girlfriend. And..." Stella says and gets cut off by Kate.

" Stella, that's enough! Stop it before I report you to Sir. Take these plates to the kitchen, now!!" Kate shouts at Stella and Stella takes the plates and walks away.

Immediately, I see Kate on her knees bowing and got b bbqhitting her head on the floor.

" Miss Lily, I'm so sorry for what Stella said to us. I know she didn't mean it. I hope you can be magnanimous and forgive her"
Kate says begging.

" Hey, why are you kneeling? You're not even the one who said those things to me so why are you apologizing?" I say

" Miss Lily, Stella is my distant cousin.I look after her now and I try my best to help her in making a living for ourselves.
I can't bear to see her cry and sad if you fire her. Please be magnanimous and forgive her." She says keeping her head on the floor.

" Hey, stop it already. I'm not your master so I can't fire anyone. Stand up" I say helping her stand.
" Do you forgive her?" Kate says tears almost forming in her eyes.

" Hm, I wasn't even angry from the first place.Don't worry I forgive her" I say
" Oh, thank you so much Miss Lily. You're so much better than Miss Erica. If it were to be her, she'd fire and insult her so much. You're really magnanimous." Kate says

" Ah-Who is this Miss Erica?"I asked. I had heard it f her before from Natheniel but I didn't know who she was.

" She's Sir Natheniel's friend. Well that's how I see it but I have been hearing rumors that they're in a relationship. But I'm not sure if they are really a couple.
