PAIGES POV

"I don't know I want her around all the time but I'm scared to tell her, I'm afraid." I sighed, putting my forehead in my hand.

"Paige, afraid of what?" KK asked.

"I-I don't know, what if we break up and now everyone has to pick sides?" I replied.

"You're right we'll all be on her side." KK chuckled, Ice joining in. I frowned slightly.

"Oh come on Paige don't be such a downer on what you and her could be." Ice said.

"What if I hurt her, she'll never speak to me again. I don't wanna lose her, ever." I admitted.

"Paige it's literally written on the wall, just talk to her." Ice replied.

"Right..okay." I said nervously. I had never been this nervous to talk to somebody in awhile. Now Y/Ns making me feel all these jitters and I've got this sick feeling in my stomach when I think I could lose her. It feels a bit overwhelming.

"You should go see her soon, I know she's been pretty busy with volleyball and school. She probably misses you Paige." Ice said.

"Maybe later..I'm gonna go to the weight room for a bit." I wiped a bit of sweat from my forehead. They definitely know something's up. Truth is I was going to the weight room because I needed somewhere to hide from all these emotions. I just couldn't shake this feeling in the pit of my stomach.

hours later..

I sat in my thoughts with music in my headphones for hours now so I removed my headphones to give my ears a break. As my head was down I could hear music blaring from headphones and soft hum on top of it. I knew that hum from anywhere. I looked up to see Y/N, her hair in a messy but also kept braid. The flyaways adding to her look.

"Paige! You scared me." Y/N held her chest.

"Hey.." The feeling came back.

"Wait I didn't know you were allowed to train by yourself now." She smiled at my independence before coming closer to hug me. The feeling only grew.

"Yeah yeah uh i'm not but I just came here to think." I barely hugged her back.

"Are you alright Paige?" She chuckled nervously, she tried to read my eyes.

"Mhm..just tired." I lied.

"Oh well if you're not done here I'll just go to another weight room." She started to turn to leave.

"No no, I just.." My palms became clammy.

"Nothing nothing I'll go." I rushed past her and out of the weight room. Now she definitely knows something's up. I tried to go as fast as I could back to the dorms. I had to talk to the girls again.

"Ice, KK? Az?" I called out.

"Azzi!" I called out again.

"Yes Paige what's wrong I thought you'd fallen or something." Azzi came out of her room.

"Is Ice and KK still here?" I asked.

"No they left a bit ago to get food." Azzi explained.

"I need to talk to someone.." I started to play with my hands.

"What's wrong Paige?" Azzi looked worried.

"You'll hate me." I sighed.

"Paige if this is about you and Y/N-"

"You know?" I looked up wide eyed.

"Paige we've been friends since high school I'm always gonna know if you like someone." Azzi rolled her eyes.
