I walked with Danny to the front door. "Did you find a school nearby?" he asked me. "I think so. Did you have a good day at work?" I responded. "Oh, it was great. I love my job," he expressed with excitement. He opened the door, and we walked in. Holy shit. The living room I took in the living room, which looked like a hurricane had gone through it.
"Hey, guys. How'd it go today with—" Danny says. "Whoa! What happened? What's with all the dirty baby clothes?" he asks, walking further into the living room. Just then, the doorbell rings.
"I'm sorry, but every time we fed her, she'd drool, or dribble, or spit up," Joey says. "Your baby's a pig," Jesse tells Danny as he moves to open the door. I hear a girl say, "Hi, Jesse." That definitely sparked my interest. I turn away from Danny and Joey to Jesse.
Oh, great. One of Jesse's flings. "Vanessa, have mercy. I thought you were supposed to go to the Philippines with Bob Hope," Jesse says. "Oh, well, I am, but the airport's fogged in. So, is that offer to stay with you anytime still good?" she asks.
