Danny pulls up in front of the house. "I still don't get how you do all this," he says while turning off the car. "I don't," I laugh in response. "You do. Two companies, and you're going to school so you can start another," he tells me as he gets out of the car.
"No, I have one company; the other one is my mom's," I say as I get out of the car. "Which one?" he asks me. "'Bastet' is my mom's clothing company for everyone. 'Sapphire Clothing' is mine, and it is for children. I started mine at..." I stop to think, "Uh... Nineteen... with the help of my parents," I tell him as we walk to the door.
"When the company started, all the legal stuff was in their name till I finished business school. So it's all mine now." I explain to him. "You're still doing a lot," he responds. I shrug and say, "Sapphire is not that far from here, and I do school at night.
"So, you were at your mom's company the night before you came?" he asked. "Yes," I say as I open the door. My eyes widened in shock as I turned to see the guys, the girls, and some strangers in the living room doing the conga. Danny came in behind me, and I quickly covered his eyes. "You don't want to see," I whispered.
