On Screen Partner
(Hia Pond)

It's been two weeks since I started university life, as expected from the business administration program, so many papers and work need to be done. Although I was so busy with all of that, I still managed to avoid P'Nanon. I know, I know! I have no reason to avoid him, but I still feel shy, and my heart is beating so fast whenever I see him. Except if I need a sign from him as my mentor.

Today too, I barely avoid P'Nanon again. I don't know why, everywhere I go, I always meet him. I sighed. Even if it's just a coincidence, still, every single day? Why is P'Nanon everywhere?

Anyway, I walk towards Phuwin's Engineering building after my class. Phuwin texted me a minute ago with CAPS LOCK that he needed to talk to me. Hm? What is happening? Is he okay? He never texted me with a CAPS LOCK message before.

As I arrived at Phuwin's faculty building, I spotted Phuwin walking outside with Hia Pond.

Hm? This is so rare for Phuwin to be with Hia Pond. Wait, is this what I think it is?

I walk towards them.

''Phu, Hia!'' I called

''Oh, Yuna! Perfect timing!'' Hia said and the next movement he made me stand still. Hia Pond just pulled Phuwin into his side, or, more like, almost hugged him. I can see that it also took Phuwin by surprise.

I looked around, making sure there was no crowd around us. ''Huh? Uhm...Hia, what are you doing with my best friend?'' I said because I can see how red Phuwin's face is right now.

''Aww, didn't you hear from Dad about my new onscreen partner for my new series?'' Hia said still putting his arm around Phuwin's shoulder

''Well yeah, two weeks ago,'' I said, ''Isn't there an audition to decide who is your onscreen partner?''

Hia Pond nodded and pointed at Phuwin, ''It's done and he's the result, surprisingly, we have amazing chemistry,''  he said and I saw Hia was smirking while side-eyeing Phuwin

Oh Lord, I know Hia loves to tease Phuwin but that look clearly said that Hia already chooses who will be his onscreen partner even without using the audition.

Wait, did Hia ask Dad about this? Hmm...this is suspicious.

I switched my attention to Phuwin, who did not say anything, but obviously, he was embarrassed and clearly, his face was getting redder and redder. Oh my!

''Hia, please stop teasing Phu, will ya,'' I said

Hia then looks at Phuwin, smiles and then releases his arm from Phuwin. ''Ok ok, I'm sorry...'' he said putting both his arms up as he surrendered, ''but what I said earlier is true, Phuwin is now my screen Partner so my dear little sister, don't be jealous na if I keep stealing your best friend,'' Hia Pond said and then coming close at Phuwin like he wants to  whisper something into his ears.

Phuwin was taken aback, now his face was red as a tomato.

''I have class so see you later, dear lil sis!'' he said shuffling my hair

''Hey! Stop messing up my hair!'' I said protested

Hia, then walking away from us, I immediately look at Phuwin, who is still red.

''Phu, you ok there?'' I said rocking Phuwin's body

Did Hia Pond whisper something into Phuwin's ears? I think he is but I couldn't hear anything. What did Hia Pond say to him that made Phuwin like this?
