A/N: I know this was meant to be an Aitana as the love interest but I started writing this and I kinda love alexia and talia so maybe in the future it might go back to aitana (not sure if it will tbh) but it's alexia now - it may seem like they move a little quick but they do only have the day well evening and I wanted to make it seem like an instant connection sort of thing
Talia stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the hem of her skirt and smoothing out the fabric of her crop top. She sighed, unsure if this was too casual or too dressed up for whatever Alexia had in mind. She didn't want to overthink it, but something about this felt different. Her heart raced a little as she imagined Alexia's reaction when they met again.
In her mind, she replayed their earlier conversation. The teasing, the laughter—it had been easy, natural. Still, there was a flicker of something more, something that made her want to dress just right, something that made her want to impress La Reina. She smirked at the thought, pulling her hair back, satisfied with her look. It wasn't too much, but it was enough to make her feel confident.
Meanwhile, Alexia was having her own dilemma. She stood in front of her wardrobe, fingers brushing through her clothes. She'd changed twice already and wasn't satisfied with any of it. She didn't understand why this felt so important. It wasn't like they had planned a formal date, but the idea of seeing Talia again left her wanting to look her best, to present herself in a way that would catch the younger girl's attention. She laughed at herself in frustration, trying to shake off the nervousness.
"Come on, Alexia," she muttered to herself. "Why are you getting so worked up?"
But deep down, she knew why. Talia's presence had an undeniable pull. Her smile, her laugh, the easy way they had bantered earlier—it had been fun, and Alexia wanted more of it. She wanted Talia to notice her, to compliment her, to be impressed.
Finally, she settled on a casual but stylish outfit—something simple yet flattering. She gave herself one last look in the mirror, smoothing her shirt and running her hands through her hair. Satisfied, she grabbed her keys and headed out, a quiet sense of anticipation buzzing under her skin.
As she walked toward their meeting spot, she couldn't help but wonder what Talia had chosen to wear and how the rest of their evening would unfold.
As Alexia approached, her breath hitched for a moment. Talia stood there, her eyes fixed on her phone, unaware of the way Alexia had just paused in her tracks, utterly captivated by the sight of her. The outfit was simple—just a skirt and a crop top—but it hugged her body in all the right ways, making her look effortlessly stunning. Alexia couldn't help but let her eyes trace over Talia's form, the way her hair fell naturally, the confidence in her posture.
She quickly shook herself out of it, realizing she couldn't just stand there and stare. Composing herself, Alexia closed the distance and said, "Sorry for making you wait."
Talia glanced up from her phone, locking eyes with Alexia as she slipped the device into her bag. She smiled softly, her voice casual as she replied, "It's fine. I just got here."
But as she spoke, her eyes roamed over Alexia's outfit, taking in the simple but stylish look. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "You look nice."
Alexia felt her heart do an unexpected flip at the compliment. She smiled in return, trying to ignore the warmth spreading across her chest. "Thanks," she replied, her voice steady. "You look amazing, too."
Talia's grin widened, and for a moment, there was a comfortable silence between them. They stood there, exchanging glances, a quiet understanding hanging in the air between them—neither of them knew exactly what the night would bring, but they both felt the pull, the connection that had started earlier that day.
