A/N: may or may not have gotten inspiration from greys anatomy - Christina always getting into Meredith's bed even when Derek was in it - for this part
The morning sun filtered softly through the curtains, bathing the room in a warm, golden light. Talia stirred awake, her body pleasantly heavy from sleep. Just as she settled back into the comfort of her pillow, she felt a gentle pressure on the other side of her.
With a sleepy turn of her head, she blinked to see Ellie climbing into bed on her side. A smile crept onto Talia's lips as she realized Alexia was cuddled against her, her body tucked under the covers, blissfully unaware of the new arrival.
"What are you doing?" Talia whispered, trying to keep her voice low, not wanting to disturb the peaceful atmosphere.
"I woke up and couldn't sleep," Ellie replied, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she snuggled closer to Talia, stealing a warm spot on the bed.
Talia turned fully to check on Alexia, ensuring she was still comfortably covered. "So you decided to get into my bed, which is occupied, by the way," she said, feigning annoyance but unable to hide the amusement in her voice.
"Doesn't matter," Ellie shrugged, her grin widening as she settled in next to Talia.
Sighing, Talia shook her head playfully. "El, come on, this is new... me and her, it's new."
"It's fine! She's sleeping," Ellie said with a dismissive wave. "Besides, she should get used to it if she's sticking around."
Talia rolled her eyes, unable to suppress a smile. "Go on then, get all your teasing out before she wakes up, and don't wake her."
With a wicked glint in her eye, Ellie turned her voice theatrical and low. "Oh Lex, just like that! I'm so close, don't stop! Fuck, baby!"
In an instant, Talia's hand shot out, grabbing the pillow from under Ellie's head and playfully whacking her. "Shut up!" she hissed, her face flushing with embarrassment.
Ellie erupted into laughter, the sound ringing out too loudly for the cozy room. "I can't help it! You should have heard how you two sounded last night!" she teased, delighting in Talia's flustered reaction.
As if responding to the noise, Alexia stirred slightly, her arm instinctively pulling Talia closer as she nestled deeper into the warmth.
Talia shot Ellie a glare, mouthing, "Be quiet!"
Ellie just grinned, nodding her understanding, her laughter still lingering in the air.
After a moment, the two friends settled into a quieter conversation, their voices low and soft as they shared snippets of their lives—Ellie's adventures in Melbourne and Talia's whirlwind days between Barcelona and here. The easy banter made Talia feel warm and connected, enveloped in friendship and love.
However, as the conversation lulled, the weight of sleep began to pull at them again. Talia felt a comforting heaviness in her limbs, still wrapped in Alexia's embrace.
With Ellie facing her, they both let their eyes flutter shut, surrendering to the softness of the moment. Talia leaned slightly towards Alexia, her heart swelling with affection as she nestled against her girlfriend, feeling her steady breathing. Ellie mirrored Talia's position, and soon, the gentle rhythm of their breaths synchronized, the room settling into a tranquil stillness.

Later in the day, Alexia slowly awoke, the sunlight streaming in more brightly than before. As her eyes fluttered open, she felt a comforting warmth wrapped around her, and for a moment, she smiled, believing it was just Talia. But as she shifted slightly, her eyes widened in surprise at the sight of another body nestled beside them.
