We've been in class for a while now, and I'm so bored with my life...

I glance at Lucas, who is focused on the lesson. Wow, man.

Lydia looks at me, and I give her a sour face. Then she glances at Lia, and they exchange some signals. Her gaze eventually shifts to Lucas.

Lucas looks at her and says something while she nods her head in agreement.

What the hell? They were acting like chickens about this topic earlier, and now she wants to say something to him during the break...

I shoot Lucas a sideways glance and look at the board. Great, we're back at it again.

Welcome back, Emma. After a while, the bell rings, and everyone leaves the classroom except me.

Lucas looks at me. I get up and head to the bathroom, not wanting to start a conversation. I don't want to know what's going to happen again...

Or maybe...

Actually, I do want to know. I'm curious to see what happens. I step out of the bathroom, spot Lia, and follow her.

Of course, she doesn't see me... They go behind the school and meet up. Lia turns to look back to see if anyone's around, but thankfully I'm hiding behind a large tree.

"What's going to happen with her?" "Did you see how she humiliated me?" "She's ruining my reputation with Lucas!!!" Lydia says, getting furious.

"I don't know, but this girl has crossed the line; we need to act fast." "WE HAVE A BET, AND WE CAN'T LOSE!"

What does she mean, a bet? Shut up, you idiot, don't let me find you now, or you won't see the light of day.

"We haven't just made one bet, Lia! We have two, along with Mia."

WAIT, WHAT? I pull out my phone and start recording a video.

GAME ON, YOU GAME ON WITH ME.

"Yeah, damn it! We need to act fast with Peter. Otherwise, it's over for us!!!"

My gaze freezes, and my breath catches. A bet? With Peter involved?

No way, I'll finish you off with my own hands... Just when I thought she had some sense! If Lia messes with Mia and Peter, she'll have to deal with me!

Lia leaves, and then Lucas shows up with Lydia. I look at them, ready to break down once again... Why, Lucas?

As soon as Lydia sees Lucas, she jumps on him and kisses him... I watch them, on the verge of tears once again...

I take one last look at them and carefully sneak away so they don't see me...

I head over to Mia and Peter. They look at me and smile.

"We need to talk," I say seriously, and they look at me. I signal for them to stand up and head into the gym.

Once we're inside, they look at me curiously. I pull out my phone and hand it to both of them.

As soon as Mia hears what's being said, she gets angry, and Peter looks the same.

"I'm going to screw that bitch upside down!" he says, turning to head for the door to find her.

"Be smart about it." I tell her, and she turns back to look at me. While Peter looks at me, I think he's come up with something.

Mia exhales and comes back towards us... "What are we going to do?" she asks, while Peter and I look at each other.

We head back to class. As soon as Peter sees Lydia, he looks at her. She notices and smiles at him while walking over.

"What's up, Peter?" she says in her usual flirtatious tone since that's the only language she knows well.

"I'm good. How about you?"

"What are you doing this afternoon?" She asks Peter, who grins mischievously.

"Got something in mind?"

"Come over to my place at 6, and let's have a little fun." Lydia says, and I'm trying to hold Mia back, who is right next to me...

"I'll be there," Peter says, and she walks away proudly, heading back to her seat.

Mia still wants to beat her up, and Peter comes over to us. He kisses her, and she's still angry. "This girl has no shame!" Mia exclaims, looking at Peter.

"Calm down, love. You know what we're going to do," Peter tells her to settle her down.

She exhales, and they finally sit down at their desk together. I watch them and exhale, staring at the desk where I sit with Lucas. I didn't want to sit there with him.

What does he think? That he can act all chummy with me and Lydia? I'm not like the girls he sleeps with! At some point, he needs to realize that!

Now he shouldn't have started playing games with me again... Since I had nowhere else to sit, I end up at the desk with Lucas.

He walks in casually with the teacher.

I look at him and move my chair further away. He sits down, glances at me, then relaxes while pulling out his phone.

I take out my notebook, not wanting him to strike up a conversation..
