"Goodmorning Sin" Mel said as her and Kenny walked through the door.
"Goodmorning Handsome" Kenny smiled sitting a bunch of bags on a chair before washing her hands.
"Goodmorning Ladies" I said watching Kenny's every move.
"Sorry we took so long; I really want to get you out of these hospital clothes today. Are you ready to eat" She asked walking over with a warm rag.
"Yes" I answered after she washed my face. She smiled and grabbed a food bag sitting it on the bedside table.
"You get to leave in 2 days Baby Boy" She smiled while pressing the button for me to sit up. "Today you can take a shower, stretch, and anything else you want to do" She said while adjusting my pillow.
"I need to find a job asap" I said looking up at the tv.
"No, you don't Sincere, you need to worry about your health first" Mel said while pulling clothes out of a bag. "Black or gray" She asked holding up two pairs of sweats.
"Gray.... I don't want to invade y'all personal space or get on y'all nerves" I said while eating some eggs. "Like I've mentioned before I get attached really easily, I dive want to get too comfortable and end dumped on the streets again" I added as Kenny brushed my hair.
"Stop worrying about that Sin, we wouldn't be here if we didn't want to help. Nothing will change at the house, when you're 100% healed we'll help you get a job when you're healed" She said pulling out the rest of the outfits.
"What do y'all get out of this" I asked closing the food before laying back.
"We get to prove to you that you're not just sex, a friendship, and I get a handsome face to look at everyday" Kenny said while combing my beard.
"Fine" I mumbled staring at her. She is the most beautiful woman I've ever met.
"Don't be like that, you don't know how stressed I was when I got that call that you were in here. I don't know how or why, but I was sick to my stomach that night because I knew something was wrong" She said staring back at me.
"And she cried and blamed herself the whole way here" Mel said while pulling her laptop.
"I'm sorry I put you through that" I said grabbing her hand.
"Don't apologize, you didn't stab yourself" She softly smiled while tracing my veins on my hands.
"I know but if I would've gone to the place I usually go to, I wouldn't be here, and you wouldn't have to be stressed out worried about me" I told her caressing the back of my hand with my thumb.
