"Goodmorning, I'm looking for Mrs. Constance McCrystal" I said nervously tapping my nails on the island. I started to not call because I don't want him to think I don't want him. But he seemed happy when I told him I found her.
"Who's calling" The lady nicely asked making me smile.
"My name is Kennedy, I'm a friend of Sincere" I said feeling nervous again.
"Oh my gosh... where is he? Is he okay?" she asked concerned.
"He's fine, he was going through some things. I think he should you about that himself. I'm not comfortable telling his personal business but he fears rejection" I told her while printing labels.
"I would never reject him, he's my only grand. Is he with you right now" She asked making me smile again.
"He's at work right now but he gets off at 1:00, I'll have him call when he gets home I promise" I told her laying my packages out.
"Thank you so much and when- if he comes to visit me, please come with him" She croaked before clearing her throat.
"You're welcome, we will be to see you very soon. I'll keep in touch" I said putting the phone on speaker.
"I really appreciate you calling Kennedy. I can't wait to meet you, you have a blessed day" She sniffled.
"You have a blessed day too Mrs. McCrystal, see you soon" I smiled before hanging up. "Mel" I yelled walking to the kitchen, a few minutes later I heard footsteps.
"What's wrong" She asked walking into the kitchen with her work journal.
"I just got off the phone with Sin's grandma. She's so sweet and she wants to see him" I smiled while starting lunch.
"Ooh that's great, are you going to meet her" She asked washing her hands.
"Yes" I sighed turning on the grill. "I'm so glad Sin and Nas connected so easily" I said seasoning the chicken.
"Me too, hopefully they become best friends, they act just alike" She cheesed, looking over at me her smile fell. "What's the matter Sissy" She asked walking over.
"What if he decides that he doesn't want to stay with us anymore. You know he's a big teddy bear, and she's so sweet. I know she's the reason why he's so sweet. What if he wants to stay with her and forget about us" I said wiping my eyes.
