In the hospital, the next day, Sneha burst into Riya's office, her voice ringing through the room. "Riya!"
Riya looked up from her paperwork, her brow furrowed in concern. "What is it?" she asked, sensing Sneha's excitement.
Sneha took a moment to catch her breath before speaking. "You won't believe what just happened! I got a call from a hospital that can help your brother!"
Riya's heart raced, a mix of hope and skepticism swirling inside her. "What? Which hospital?"
Sneha leaned closer, her eyes sparkling. "It's a really good one, with all the equipment he needs. They said they're willing to help him."
Riya felt a rush of emotions. "Are you serious? How did you find out about this?"
Sneha nodded enthusiastically. "I just found it unknowingly!"
Riya's mind raced. Could this be the solution she had been desperately seeking? "When can we go?" she asked eagerly.
"They said we can visit tomorrow," Sneha replied, unable to contain her smile.
Riya felt tears prick at her eyes. "Thank you, Sneha. This means the world to me."
Sneha grinned. "Of course! We're in this together. Now, let's get back to work. We have a lot to do!"
Riya nodded, feeling a renewed sense of hope. Perhaps this was the turning point they had been waiting for.
On the other hand, as Roy drove towards his company, he noticed a woman walking slowly down the sidewalk, her expression lost in thought. Suddenly, a man on a bike zoomed past her, snatching the bag she was holding.
Roy's instincts kicked in. Without a second thought, he slammed on the brakes, his heart racing as he watched the scene unfold. "Hey!" he shouted, throwing the car into park.
The woman gasped, stunned and bewildered, as the thief sped away with her belongings. Roy jumped out of his car, adrenaline coursing through him. He sprinted after the bike, his mind focused solely on stopping the thief.
"Stop! Thief!" he yelled, pushing himself to run faster.
The man glanced back, his eyes widening as he realized Roy was gaining on him. In a moment of desperation, Roy reached for his phone, quickly dialing for help, but his main focus was on catching the thief.
Just as the thief rounded a corner, Roy made a final push, lunging forward. He managed to grab the back of the thief's jacket, pulling him off balance. They both stumbled, and with a swift move, Roy yanked the bag from the man's grip.
The thief, realizing he was cornered, kicked out and tried to break free, but Roy held on tightly. "You picked the wrong person to mess with," Roy growled, his grip firm.
With a shout, the thief broke free and took off down the alley. Roy was momentarily stunned but quickly turned to the woman, who was standing frozen, her eyes wide with shock.
"Are you okay?" he asked, concern evident in his voice.
She nodded slowly, tears of relief brimming in her eyes. "Thank you so much! I thought I'd lost everything."
Roy handed her the bag, feeling a surge of satisfaction. "Just be careful next time. People like that don't care who they hurt."
She smiled gratefully, and as their eyes met, there was a spark of connection. "I owe you one," she said softly.
