Roy leaned in closer, curiosity evident in his eyes. "Tell me what you've found."

Sanjay smiled, eager to share. "Riya is an exceptional doctor, dedicated to her work. She's been at Sunray Hospital for a few years now and has a great reputation among her patients. But here's the interesting part—she's known for being fiercely independent and has no interest in dating anyone from the hospital."

Roy raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What else?"

Sanjay continued, "She's passionate about saving lives and often works late shifts. Some say she's even turned down offers to work in more prestigious hospitals because she believes in making a difference here."

Roy nodded, impressed but also aware that winning her over wouldn't be easy. "Looks like I'll have to show her I'm different from the rest."

Sanjay hesitated for a moment before adding, "And there's one more thing, brother. When Riya was just 10 years old, her father died in a car accident. Her mother was pregnant at the time, and now Riya has a younger brother."

Roy frowned, sensing the weight of her past. "What about her brother?"

Sanjay replied, "He's suffering from a serious disease. It's a lot for her to handle, especially since she's the one supporting the family now."

Roy felt a mix of admiration and concern. "That's tough. No wonder she's so dedicated to her work. She's carrying a lot on her shoulders."

Sanjay nodded. "Exactly. It makes her even more impressive but also shows how resilient she is. You might need to be careful how you approach her."

Roy contemplated this information, realizing that Riya's struggles might make her more guarded, but he was determined to break through her defenses.

Roy leaned back in his chair, deep in thought. "What kind of disease does her brother have?" he asked, knowing this could be crucial in understanding Riya better.

Sanjay replied, "He has a condition called cystic fibrosis. It's a genetic disorder that affects the lungs and digestive system, making it hard for him to breathe and digest food properly. It requires constant medical attention and a strict treatment plan."

Roy's expression turned serious. "That sounds incredibly challenging. How is Riya handling it?"

Sanjay shrugged. "She's doing her best, but I can imagine it takes a toll on her. Balancing her job with her brother's health issues must be exhausting. She probably feels a lot of pressure to be strong for both herself and her family."

Roy felt a newfound respect for Riya. "No wonder she's so passionate about saving lives. It's not just a job for her; it's personal. I have to be sensitive to her situation."

Sanjay nodded. "Exactly. If you want to win her over, showing empathy and understanding will go a long way."

Roy smiled, determined. "I'll make sure to approach her with care. I want to be someone she can rely on, not just another complication in her life."

Sanjay leaned closer, lowering his voice as if sharing a secret. "Oh, and there's something else you should know. Riya's brother is actually in the same hospital where she works. He's been undergoing treatment there for his cystic fibrosis."

Roy's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "He's in the hospital? That must be incredibly hard for her, seeing him struggle every day while she's trying to save other lives."

Sanjay nodded gravely. "Exactly. It must be a constant reminder of her family's situation. I can only imagine how difficult it is for her to stay strong, both for her brother and her patients."

Roy's mind raced as he processed this new information. "So, if I want to support her, I need to make sure I'm not just another burden. I need to show her I understand her struggles."

Sanjay added, "And if you can find a way to help her brother, it could really make a difference in winning her over. She'd see you as someone who genuinely cares about her and her family."

Roy nodded, feeling a surge of determination. "I'll find a way to help. She deserves that kind of support, especially given everything she's going through."

Sanjay continued, "But here's the thing, Roy: the equipment at that hospital isn't up to par. It's outdated, and they don't have the resources they need for advanced treatment."

Roy frowned, "That's unfortunate. She's doing her best in a place that doesn't have what it needs to help her brother."

Sanjay nodded, then added, "On the other hand, our hospital has state-of-the-art equipment. We could really make a difference with the right resources. But..."

Roy interrupted, "But what?"

Sanjay hesitated, glancing at Roy. "We don't have any doctors like Riya. She's a gem, and it's hard to find someone who can match her skill and dedication."

Roy sighed, contemplating the situation. "So, if I want to help her brother, I'll have to figure out a way to bring Riya into our hospital. It wouldn't just be about providing better care for him; it would also show Riya that I care about her family."

Sanjay smiled, "That's the spirit, brother! If you can convince her, it could work out perfectly."

Roy leaned back in his chair, a determined look on his face. "I will find a way to make this happen. She deserves to have her brother get the best care possible, and I want to be the one to help her do that."

Roy leaned forward, his gaze intense as he looked at Sanjay. "You have her friend's number, right? Call her."

Sanjay nodded, confusion flickering in his eyes. "Sure, but what do you want me to say?"

Roy replied, "Just tell her that you found a hospital that can help Riya's brother. But don't mention me or my name. I want this to be a surprise for her."

Sanjay raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Okay, I can do that. But why the secrecy?"

Roy smirked slightly. "I want to show Riya that we're willing to help without her knowing it's coming from me. It'll mean more that way. She needs to trust that there are people who genuinely want to support her and her brother."

Sanjay smiled, impressed by Roy's thoughtfulness. "Got it, brother. I'll call her friend right now."

As Sanjay dialed the number, Roy leaned back in his chair, a sense of satisfaction washing over him. He was determined to make a difference in Riya's life, and this was just the beginning.
