In the car, Sanjay connected the Bluetooth and started playing some music. The atmosphere lightened up with the sound of upbeat songs, creating a relaxed vibe as they drove through the city. Riya and Sneha exchanged smiles, while Roy kept his eyes on the road, occasionally glancing at the rearview mirror, where Riya seemed lost in her thoughts again. The music played softly in the background, blending with the cool night breeze.
"Nice choice, Sanjay," Sneha said, swaying to the rhythm, trying to get everyone into the mood.
As the car came to a stop in the middle of a beautiful forest, the soft sounds of the night surrounded them. The stars twinkled above, and the peaceful environment felt perfect for camping. Roy turned off the engine and looked around. Everyone had fallen asleep during the drive. He smiled as he noticed Riya resting peacefully, her face soft under the moonlight.
Gently, Roy stepped out of the car and stretched, breathing in the fresh air. He walked over to Sanjay's side and lightly tapped on his window to wake him up.
"Hey, wake up. We're here," Roy whispered, trying not to disturb the others just yet. Sanjay groggily opened his eyes, looked around, and gave Roy a nod.
Roy then turned back to admire the quiet beauty of the forest, all while preparing to wake up the others for what was going to be a night of adventure under the stars.
Riya and Sneha slowly woke up, stretching as they stepped out of the car. The cool breeze of the forest hit their faces, and they looked around, taking in the peaceful surroundings. The stars above were shimmering, and the soft rustling of leaves filled the air. They spotted Roy and Sanjay, who were already busy setting up the camp.
"Wow, this place is amazing," Riya said, her voice filled with awe as she admired the beauty around them.
Sneha nodded, still half-asleep, but smiling. "I didn't expect this! You guys planned everything."
Roy glanced over at them, a playful grin on his face. "We thought it'd be a good surprise. You both enjoy the view—we'll handle the camp."
Sanjay, tying a knot for the tent, chuckled, "Yeah, feel free to help anytime though!"
Riya laughed softly, feeling the excitement of the night ahead. It was a perfect moment, surrounded by friends, nature, and the peacefulness of the forest.
Riya hesitated as she stood next to Roy, helping him set up the tent. She couldn't stop herself from thinking about that night and the lingering doubts swirling in her mind.
Roy noticed her quietness and looked at her, "What are you looking at?"
She glanced at him nervously, then finally spoke, her voice unsure, "Hey... can I ask you something?"
"Sure," Roy replied, his expression curious yet calm.
Riya took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "That night... did we...?" she paused, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Roy furrowed his brows. "We what?" he asked gently, encouraging her to continue.
"That night... did we do something?" Riya asked, her voice barely above a whisper, feeling awkward but needing to know.
Roy's face softened as he understood what she was asking. He held her gaze and said, "Riya, nothing happened that night. You were drugged, and I took care of you. That's all. You're safe with me."
A wave of relief washed over her, but she was still flustered. "Thank you," she whispered, grateful and a little embarrassed for having asked.
As the camp started to come together, Sanjay and Sneha took charge of the food, deciding to prepare something simple yet delicious for everyone. Sneha pulled out the ingredients they had brought along, while Sanjay set up the portable stove.
