“Sabrina what happened? Why are you crying?” Nag-aalalang tanong ni Irene kay Sabrina na umiiyak ngayon sa cafe.
Sabrina remained silent, “your dad called and send me your location dahil nakita mo na daw si Katrina. Where is she? Your dadis on his way here na” Irene said again, but still Sabrina didn’t utter any word. Tinignan ni Irene kung saan nakatingin si Sabrina at nakita nga niya si Katrina dun na masayang nakikipagusap sa bata na siguro ay nasa 7 years old na.
“I-is t-that her daughter?” Sabrina asked.
Nakaramdam ng awa si Irene kay Sab, para rin siyang nasasaktan para sa bata.
“I d-don’t know Sab. You want me to go to her and talk to her?” Irene asked Sab, agad itong umiling.
“Let’s wait for dad. Maybe dad can talk to her” tumango si Irene at pinakalma si Sabrina.
Minutes had passed and they saw Greggy na nagmamadaling pumasok ng cafe. Inilibot nito ang paningin niya at agad na nakita sila Sabrina.
“Where is she?” He asked them. Tinignan ni Irene sila Katrina kaya sinundan siya ng tingin ng Greggy.
Natahimik saglit si Greggy bago kausapin si Sabrina.
“Sab I will try to approach her first okay? Can you and Tita Irene wait me sa parking area?”
Inaasahan ni Greggy na hindi papayag si Sabrina dahil nga sa katigasan ng ulo nito, ngunit nabigla siya ng tumango ito at pumayag na maghintay nalang sa parking.
Inalalayan ni Irene si Sab at sabay silang lumabas ng cafe. Huminga muna ng malalim si Greggy bago dahan dahan na lumapit kay Katrina para kausapin ito.

“You know what? Let’s just resched this practice, this won’t work if you keep acting like that” naiinis na wika ni Jean sa kaibigan
Agad na bumalik sa reyalidad ang isip ni Sabrina, “Sorry Jean, let’s rest for 10 minutes muna and I promise na magffocus na ako”
“Are you really okay sabrina? Is there something bothering you? You can share it to me naman. Is this about your dad again?” Jean asked
Agad na umiling si Sabrina and smiled to assure her that she’s really okay.
“I’m fine Jean, I can’t tell it pa eh but soon I will tell it to you. Its so complicated pa eh, don’t mind me” napahinga ng malalim si Jean at nod her head.
“Basta if you need someone to talk to, I am here Sab. Don’t forget that”
“Thank you Jean”
Tunay nga after 10 minutes break ay nagfocus na si Sabrina, she can’t ruin their practice dahil lang sa problema niya.
Nakahinga lang siya ng maluwag nng matapos na ang practice nila. Agad na nagpaalam si Sabrina sa kaibigan dahil nasa parking na si Irene para sunduin siya.
“Good afternoon Sab, how’s your day dear?”
“Good tita, kinda tiring but its all fine” she answered.
“Manang Imee gave me some boxes of Cara’s cookies. Dinagdagan niya na yan dahil nagustuhan mo raw iyan” napangiti si Sabrina at kumuha ng cookies.
“You wanna go somewhere before we go home? I need to go to San Juan kasi by five, dun ako matutulog since Mommy is not feeling well”
“Galing ka na po ron diba? Nagstay nalang po sana kayo pwede naman akong sunduin ni Kuya Jem e”
“Its fine Sab, gusto ko rin naman na sunduin ka at para mabigay ko na rin itong cookies. Your dad will be home tomorrow, and he’s planning to eat outside with my family. Are you okay with that?”
