Tyki made his way through the foyer of the small unkempt inn, it had taken about ten more minutes for him to get there, each and every second of which dragged on and on, it was decidedly the longest ten minutes of his life. The Noah didn't bother with asking for directions to her room, there were only two hallways to choose from anyway, so he turned down the one on his left. The hallway wasn't empty as he'd anticipated, there was a man standing in front of one of the rooms with a small burlap sack in his grip, he was about to knock on the door but his hand was visibly trembling. Glancing at the room's number the Noah shook his head, of course he's in front of room seven... Tyki let out a long exhale and then continued down the hall, "Excuse me Sir..." He greeted the frightened man, who then turned to him and blinked. "...but I don't think that's your room..." Tyki pointed out with a sneer, "The hell it is." The man replied, quickly giving Tyki a look up and down, "The crazy bitch in there belong to you?" he asked, gesturing to the room. Tyki opened his mouth to defend her, but sighed and held his tongue, reaching up he wiped his face with both hands. "Yes, yes she does..." With no hesitation whatsoever or a word as to why, the man thrusted the burlap bag into the Noah's chest, which Tyki instinctively grabbed. "Wha-" "Get her out of my establishment before she burns it down." The man snapped before pushing past him and retreating back to the foyer of the inn. Chuckling at the brutally earnest request, Tyki turned his attention to the sack in his hands. Pulling on the drawstring and peering inside he found that it was full of fruit, specifically oranges, his brow furrowed in confusion ...why?... Putting aside the fact that he was now the confused owner of a strange sack of mystery oranges, he gently rapped on the room door. "Shaun love, open up it's me." The door swung open as soon as the words left his lips, in a blur of wavy blond hair Shaun had her arms wrapped around him tight, making Tyki stagger back a step or two to keep his balance. She clung to him for a moment, taking in the almost surreal sensation of his strong arms pulling her closer and the sweet familiar scent of his skin. A lump formed in her throat as she buried her face in his overcoat. "I'm here now..." He murmured soflty, "It's alright love I'm here..." Shaun pulled away a little bit, sliding a hand up along his chest she took hold of his collar and pulled the Noah in for a kiss. A small tender kiss like she thought she would never have again. Their lips slowly parted and Shaun smiled a little, "That was for bringing me back." Tyki smiled back at her and moved in for another kiss, WHAM! Pain shot up through his body and the Noah clutched his groin in pain, falling to his knees with a breathless yelp. "But so was that..." Shaun sneered after kneeing him hard in the family jewels. Tyki bit his lip and wheezed, his eyes shut tight "Ok..." He gasped, "Yeah... I guess I can't... say that was uncalled for." The Noah spoke through clenched teeth, "Ya think?" Shaun laughed icily, snatching the top hat off his head and putting it on. She looked down at him with a sigh, "Tyki..." Shaun muttered his name with a frown, "Be a big boy and stand up ok, I need you to help me figure this out..." She extended a hand to him, he let out a long breath and took it. "What no apology?" He chuckled, still in a fair bit of pain as she helped him off the musty carpeted flooring. "Don't even joke." She chided, rolling her eyes as she lead him inside the room.
"Just how mad are you..." Tyki asked, gently wrapping his arms around her waist from behind, he was trying his best not to hit a nerve and set her off. "I'm not mad... well I am... mad... but..." The Noah pecked her softly on the cheek before resting his head in in the crook of her neck. "Buut..." He hummed, "But... I'm sick of being mad, I don't know what to... and... god fuck, damn it Tyki get off me I can't focus on anything with you like that!" Shaun growled, she could almost feel him smirking and it annoyed her that he enjoyed flustering her like that, even though she grudgingly still found it charming. "That's exactly why I'm doing it." He laughed, giving her two more quick kisses to the cheek and subsequently knocking the hat off her head. "What?" Shaun raised a brow and turned halfway to face him, "You're not going to focus on anything tonight." The Noah spoke with a smug expression that made Shaun blush, "We can talk things out if you want, but I think we both deserve just a little bit of a break hm..." The girl was silent for a moment, but then a smile began to ever so slightly crease her soft rosy lips. "Yeah... sure..." She replied, quiet and hesitant, as if she were still trying convince herself that they could afford any kind of break from the ensuing chaos. "That's it." Tyki smirked and let her go, all he wanted was to forget, even just for a night he wanted to push away the fear and confusion and hatred. Push away everything but Shaun. "Now." He began as he tossed his coat onto an old leather arm chair, "How about we start off with you explaining why I had to confront an angry man with a sack of oranges at your door." Shaun's face immediately brightened up at his words, "He brought them!?" She cheered, in total disregard of her lover's confusion. "... Yeah he uh, I have them here." Tyki blinked, holding up the burlap sack for her to see, "Toss 'em over come on!" Shaun clapped happily, her mood had undergone an almost complete paradigm shift in less than three seconds of learning there were oranges in the room. The Noah shrugged and tossed her the bag, which she opened right away. Taking her scythe off the wall she began to peel an orange off the hook of its blade, "So am I going to have to pay this guy a visit or what..." Tyki joked as he unbuttoned his vest and tossed his silk neck piece onto the same chair as his coat, Shaun laughed and grinned. "Oh how I've missed your sarcasm." The girl smirked before blissfully sinking her teeth into her long awaited orange, "I could say the same." He smirked, squinting his eyes halfway. Noticing his stare Shaun's shoulders began to shake as she held in a laugh. "Bedroom eyes away mister, I feel like shit." She grinned, finishing off her fruit as the Noah joined her on the bed. "You think I feel like a ball of sunshine right now?" Tyki faked a pout and used one hand to gently toy with her hair. "You're pushing it." Shaun warned, "I'm trying to." He grinned wickedly, as the hand on her back began to circle the clasp of her bra. "Tyki." She snapped, "Yes love." The Noah rolled his eyes and returned the hand to his lap. "Tyki..." The blonde muttered, quieter, sinking into the same whimpering tone that she'd spoken in when he got through to her thoughts. "Why are you trying to make me feel like nothing is wrong..." Shaun let herself fall backwards onto the bed, bouncing the mattress a little. Silence hung in the room for a long while, she could only see the Noah's back, hunched over, it was easy to tell that his face was in his hands. "Because if I see another tear in your eye I swear to god I'll break." Tyki tried as hard as he could to mask the pain in his voice, to no avail of course. He felt a gentle tug at the back of his shirt, allowing himself to fall on his back beside her in response. Shaun then lifted up a hand, "Don't worry too much about that..." She sighed as her skin darkened and her fingers hooked into claws, blood red markings swirling around her wrist. "I'd bet my tears are pretty dried up by now." Tyki wordlessly raised his hand as well, Shaun watched as his skin darkened even more than hers, a near black. His fingers hardened to claws and the prominent markings of his original memory coiled up his arm like serpents. Once the little transformation was over he took her hand in his, fingers still lovingly intertwined despite their menacing appearance, the little display nearly made Shaun choke on her words right then and there. "If I kiss you now are you going to kick me in the nuts again..." He sighed, "Go for it." She breathed, and with that the Noah half rolled on top of her. His tongue slid over hers as she tilted her head, slow and passionate he brought a leg up between hers, ever so slightly bearing down on his lover. "Mm..." Shaun let out a small noise in discomfort, which Tyki mistook for pleasure, but she allowed him to continue. Tyki was pushing on her stomach to harshly, she felt a little nauseous again but hoped it would go away. Those hopes were dashed of course when the Noah decided to let his hand wander her curves, cupping her right breast an odd painful pressure caused her to yelp and curse. "Fuck! Off now! Off! Off! Off!..." Shaun pushed Tyki away and sat up, continuing to swear under her breath. "What's wrong?" Tyki's brow furrowed, not that it mattered but they had gotten way rougher than that in the past and it hadn't so much as phased her, so he was confused as to how that could've hurt. "Oh my god I think I'm gonna throw up." She cringed, clutching her slightly swelled stomach, "You're doing wonders for my self-esteem love." Tyki chuckled sarcastically, although still visibly concerned. "Why the hell do my tits hurt so much!?" She groaned and scrunched up her face, Tyki sat up with a frown. "Shaun... are you ok?" He asked, "Do I look ok?" She hissed back at him. "No that would be why I asked..." He retorted with a small shrug of his shoulders. Ignoring Tyki's smart mouthed comment, Shaun pushed off the bed and rushed to the washroom, flicking the switch on and curling up around the toilet. Although she heaved painfully, nothing was coming out, she barley even noticed Tyki come in, let alone the fact that he'd been holding back her hair almost the entire time.
She had been feeling off for a while but it hadn't been this bad, Shaun searched her head for anything that could have gotten her that sick. What did she even have? It wasn't a cold or a fever she could kick those in days, so maybe something more serious she thought. I feel bloated as all hell... my sinuses are fucking fine... The girl heaved again. Still nothing. And why would my boobs hurt?... Shaun's sweaty fingers meekly gripped the porcelain toilet while Tyki held her hair, averting his eyes. It wasn't really something he cared to see. It took a second for the girl to put it all together, but once she had her blood ran cold. The oranges... why the fuck did I want the oranges... and... oh my god... "Oh my god..." She echoed her thoughts out loud. "Hm?" Tyki glanced down at her, "You fucker..." Shaun whispered in shock. The Noah blinked at her, "You fucker!" She repeated louder, turning around to face him and clumsily propping her back up on the cupboards underneath the main counter. "What's going on?" Tyki knelt down to meet her gaze, her false silvery blue eyes seemed hysterical, only adding to her feverish expression. "Tyki... I-I think..." She paused, Tyki caressed the side of her face to comfort her, urging her to continue. "I think I'm fucking pregnant..." She shook her head in disbelief. Terror washed over the Noah like a tidal wave, he could barely speak, he didn't even know what to say. His eyes widened like saucers and his jaw began to drop, "You got me fucking pregnant." Her heart sunk into her stomach. "Tyki what are we gonna do?..."
