Malone arrives at brunch to meet her friend Roselle.
Roselle: Hello, my dear longtime friend!
Roselle hugs Malone
Malone: Hello, my loving friend! How has your morning been so far?
Roselle: It's been amazing! Girl, I got a call from a client! I'm supposed to meet them at noon to look at a house.
Malone: OMG! That's so great, I'm happy for you!
Roselle: Thanks, girl! How has your morning been?
Malone: It's been crappy!
Roselle: What's wrong, girl? Is everything okay?
Malone: Triton and I have been arguing since yesterday! I understand he was trying to do the right thing. I'm just so stressed it's like, okay, when are you going job searching again? It seems like I'm going to be responsible for the bills! Yes, we have a good amount saved together, but this is not how I planned on living my married life! I feel horrible for the things I said to him.
Roselle: Maybe you two should talk about all of this. You know, try to work things out! Every marriage is not perfect! Chris and I got back on good terms not too long ago!
Malone: Really? You two seem like the perfect couple!
Roselle: Everything is not what it seems on the inside, just because the outside may seem reasonable! Girl, it took God and some counseling to save our marriage!
Malone: May I ask what happened?
Roselle: I found out Chris was cheating on me with a coworker of his!
Malone: Omg! Roselle, I'm so sorry; I did not know Chris would do something like that to you! Why didn't you tell me?
Roselle: We decided to keep things between us; I was so embarrassed! I kept blaming myself for what happened!
Malone: None of that was your fault! You are a fantastic wife to him! Everyone makes mistakes sometimes; it's just up to us how we accept it and deal with it.
Roselle: You're right, but girl, I love seeing you and Triton happy together. Maybe you, too, should see a counselor!
Malone: Girl, I'm not involving some stranger in our relationship; eventually, we will get through this!
Roselle: Okay, girl, I'm just saying a little help doesn't hurt sometimes. If you ever decide to go through with it, I can give you the counselor who helped save Chris and my marriage!
Malone: Thanks, but no thanks, we will be fine!
Roselle: Just trying to help!
Roselle and Malone finish enjoying their brunch.
