It's Wednesday at 9am and I'm in Spanish class.
I never really saw a point in me taking this class since I already know Spanish, but when I started this college they said it was mandatory to do a language.

Max is in this class, he's only in two of my classes but from what I can gather he's never paying attention. Whenever I look over at him he always either has his headphones on or is asleep. I don't even want to imagine what his grades are like, it's a miracle he hasn't been kicked out yet. It makes me wonder what his dad thinks about it, if I acted like Max did I don't think I would be alive right now.
And that's not even just with grades, it's everything really. Imagine if I started dressing like him, talking like him, being as careless as him, my father would definitely kill me.
I kind of envy him in that way. He can dress and act how he wants, he has a loving father that would do anything for him, I've seriously never seen anything like the way Goofy cares about Max.

When I asked Goofy to be a part of the gammas and his first response was to decline because he wanted to stay close to Max, I laughed.
The way he talked about his son was something I didn't understand, I found it weird how close they seemed to be, and I honestly still do. I couldn't even dream about being that way with my dad.
What confused me even more was when I occasionally saw Max and his dad together, Max would always be pushing Goofy away, being cold to him. That's part of the reason I hated Max, his dad loves him that much and in response he rolls his eyes and tries to get away from him? That's something I will never understand.

It's like Max is the nicest person on earth but when it comes to his dad he acts like that? It's beyond confusing.

The professor pulls me from my thoughts. "Remember you have till Monday to finish the project."

My stomach drops, and I look over at Max who is also looking at me with wide eyes.

How the fuck could I forget about that!? If I don't get an A+ in this class my dad will murder me.

The class is dismissed and Max instantly runs over to me, slamming his hands down on the desk. "Dude, I totally forgot about the project."

"Yeah, if we don't get this done I'm fucking screwed." I say, frustrated.

He runs a hand down his face with a groan. "If I get one more F I'll fail this class, then I'll get kicked out of college, then-"

I slap him. "Pull yourself together."

He puts a hand on his cheek. "HEY! What was that for!?" His face suddenly drops into a frown. "That was a shit excuse to slap me."

I smile smugly. "I had no other choice. Now, if you're free we should probably get started on the project in my dorm."

"I have calculus in a couple hours..."

"We better get going then." I say, beginning to walk away.

"Uh, alright."

We get to the frat house where one of the gammas is asleep on the couch, so we just walk past him and up the stairs.
As soon as we enter my room Max flops down onto my bed, shutting his eyes.

"Making yourself at home are we?" I say, shutting the door.

"It's basically my room at this point, and your bed is extremely comfy."

I scoff, walking over to my desk and putting my bag down onto it. "Just because you stayed here for a week doesn't make it your room."

"Hmm, I beg to differ."

I sit down on my desk chair as he rolls over on his stomach facing me, hands on his chin and legs swinging in the air.

I let out a confused laugh at this.
