I woke up to someone tapping on my shoulder.
I slowly opened my eyes, instantly being hit with a migraine.

The first thing I was greeted with when I opened my eyes was the girl peeking over the bed looking at me.
I sat up fully to look at her, she sat up on the bed when I did this.

"Uhm...sorry for waking you, but what am I doing here?" She said with a look of pure confusion on her face.

I rubbed my eyes. "I didn't expect you to remember anything. Long story short I saved you from your ex boyfriend. You're welcome."

"Wait what?" She said before looking off to the side to think. "Oh, I do remember being with him last night..."

"Yeah."

She put her head into her hand with a sigh. "Jesus christ...I'm really sorry you had to deal with that."

"It's no problem."

She raised an eyebrow. "Wait. I recognise you..."

"Yeah yeah, former X games champion who blew the last event up." I said as I waved a hand in the air. "But how did you come to a gamma party without knowing me?"

She pointed a finger. "Ohh shit yeah, Bradley Uppercrust! Honestly I just show up to random parties without even looking at the house." She said with a laugh.

"Right." I said before standing up, looking down at Max.
He's still fast asleep. He looks so...I don't know. Something.

"Okay I don't know a whole lot about the X games since when my ex boyfriend used to drag me to watch I would just stare off into space, but I'm pretty fucking sure that's the dude who beat you..."

I looked at her, rubbing the back of my neck. "...he is."

"And I thought you guys were known for hating each other..."

"We do." I said in a not so convincing tone.

She stared at me for a few seconds with a dumbfounded look on her face before saying; "Right...so you're telling me you hate eachother so much you're sleeping next to each other and smiling down at him while he's sleeping?"

"Smiling? What are you talking about?"

"You were literally just staring at him with the most loving look in your eyes." She said with a smirk.

I got a little taken aback by her words. "Uh? What? Loving- what?..."

She just stared at me, a smirk still placed on her face.

"...okay, I guess we don't hate each other as much anymore. But you CANNOT tell anyone about this." I said, pointing a finger at her.

She put her hands up in defense. "Okay fine, I won't. But you guys seriously went from enemies to lovers? I honestly didn't even know you were gay."

I stared at her, dumbfounded and trying to make sense of the words that just came out of her mouth. "...Am I extremely hungover or did you just say what I think you said?"

"Probably both. Oh are you guys not together?"

My eyes widen slightly at the fact she's seriously insinuating...that.
"No...I'm not 𝘨𝘢𝘺. And even if I was, I can assure you Max would be my last choice."

"Righttt..." She said in a teasing tone.

I furrowed my brows. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"I mean c'mon, you can't be like that together then get mad at me when I assume."

"Yeah I'm not talking about this anymore." I said as I headed to the bathroom.

I walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind me.
