Mia and Izzy had marched back into Madame Dorothea's apartment with Mia approaching the Portal with her face filled with conviction of anxiety for she needed to get to Luke, and this is the fastest way to go.

"Mia, are you sure about taking this route?" Izzy said for she is no stranger to Portals given Shadowhunters use them such as traveling to Idris; however, she eyes Madame Dorothea. She wasn't too confident of one in possession of someone not even a warlock given Warlocks create and set the Portals for Shadowhunters, nor is it an officially Shadowhunter owned version. For all they know this Portal may lead them to an infested demon area or trap them inside it forever in Limbo.

Mia turns to Izzy with a harden and certain nod. "I know I need to get to Luke quick and you have seen I'm not an idiot. I wouldn't take this route if I knew it wasn't safe. Can't a girl trust a gal?"

Izzy snorts, her lips curling. "I didn't know you can be funny when you wanted to be." Izzy contemplated. She let out a stressed sigh. "It's not that I don't trust you given we only known each other for a few days and you know what you're doing; but the question is: can I trust you?"

Mia raises a brow. "That's the thing you should know about this cruel and beautiful world, Izzy: I don't trust anyone and neither should you." Her lips twitch.

Izzy's eyes widen on noticing that small facial detail and smirks. "Alright then tough girl. Lead the way."

The two stand right before the Portal. Mia turns to Izzy. "I'll go first."

Izzy giggled. "Isn't suppose to be ladies first?"

"And let you walk into the unknown and danger? Not a chance." Mia retorted.

Izzy smiles. "How admirable of you. Then be my guest."

Mia nodded and walks into the Five-Dimensional Door with Izzy following afterwards. The two went tumbling through the empty space and were falling. Next thing they knew the pair fell into some branches, tearing leaves off with Mia hitting into the ground hard for her hips and shoulder struck the earth. She grunts, about to sit up when she hears a yelp from above and wheezed as the air was knocked out of her lung from someone landing on top of her. Mia was knocked backward and suddenly felt something warm, soft, and big muffling her face. She tries sucking in air when her nostrils flare from a delightful scent of roses and vanilla. Mia blinks when she hears groaning and notices her face is casted by a familiar long, ink-black hair showering over her.

"Ouch." Izzy said, rubbing her head with some leaves stuck in-between that she cleaned off. Izzy looks down, noticing she is on top of Mia and that the Morgenstern girl has cushion her fall and her breast were pillowing her face. Izzy gasped, motioning her hand to her mouth and laughed. "Oh my hero. How is the view from down there? Having fun yet?" She teased with a toothy grin. Mia's mouth is obscured between the fleshy pillows and deadpanned. Izzy amusingly rolls her eyes and got off of Mia. "Well that wasn't too bad."

Mia shakes her head, cracking her neck and stretching from the impact. "Speak for yourself." She notice the blue sky above her and tree branch. "Well I guess these things aren't too comfortable for travel." She turns to see a gray clapboard house. At least we didn't land in the East River." She notices the brown grass of a dead lawn, chain-link fence, and the house; recognizing the the area. "But we arrived to our destination." Mia's lips nearly moved up. "Dad's place."
