As the summer days faded into autumn, the once inseparable bond between Katsuki Bakugou and Shoto Todoroki began to fray. With Todoroki's family now settled in a different city, and Bakugou continuing in his own, life slowly drew them into separate paths.
At first, Bakugou and Todoroki would always think about their memories together, missing one another's presense, but as time went by, they slowly started adjusting to their own lives and had different priorities.
Todoroki was navigating his new school, making new friends and adapting to a different environment. While he cherished the memories of his time with Bakugou, he was also learning to embrace the challenges of his new life. Each day brought its own experiences, but he often found himself thinking back to their playful arguments and shared dreams of becoming heroes.
At school, Bakugou immersed himself in training and competitions, determined to prove his worth as the strongest. He excelled in physical challenges, earning admiration from his classmates. The more he focused on being the best, the more he felt the absence of his friend weigh on him, but he managed to make many friends despite his aggresive personality.
As the months rolled on, their memories with each other slowly started to fade, the thoughts of missing each other that they once had, slowly started to disappear and it did not affect them much anymore. Although this was all going to change.
