Todoroki was a bit surprised at this, his heart was beating, his mind thinking of all the possible things that could happen at this moment, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Sure Bakugou, what happened?" Todoroki asked curiously, looking the spiky blonde-haired guy with his heterochromatic eyes.

Bakugou hesitated for a moment, his usual scowl softening slightly. "You really don't remember me, do you?" he asked, his tone sounding a bit more hurt than he wanted it to be.

Todoroki blinked in surprise, a rush of warmth flooding through him. 'He hasn't forgotten me,' he thought, feeling a flutter of something unfamiliar in his stomach—an echo of the emotions he had experienced during his childhood days with Bakugou. "Bakugou...Of course I would remember you. How could I forget?" He mumbled, with a slight smile on his face.

Bakugou's eyes widened slightly, surprise flickering across his face before he quickly masked it with his usual bravado. He crossed his arms, trying to play it cool. "Damn icy-hot...Why did you pretend to not know me then?!" he shot back, but there was a softness in his voice that betrayed his irritation.

Todoroki could sense the mix of frustration and relief in Bakugou's tone. 'He cares.' Todoroki realized, and it warmed him more than he expected.

"I wasn't pretending," Todoroki replied softly, trying to keep his own emotions in check. "It's just... it's been a long time. I thought you had forgotten."

Bakugou rolled his eyes, though the corner of his mouth twitched upward. "Why would I forget you? I promised I wouldn't" he said trying to sound annoyed.

"Well, we did promise a lot of things, like how I said I was going to marry you." he admitted, letting the warmth spread further.

Bakugou's eyes widened in shock, his face turning an impressive shade of red. He quickly looked away, fumbling for a response. "Stupid extra," he mumbled, his voice a mix of embarrassment and irritation.

Bakugou shot him a glare, but the flush on his cheeks betrayed him. "Yeah, well... that was a kid's promise! It doesn't count half n half!"

"Doesn't it?" Todoroki asked, raising an eyebrow, his smile growing a bit wider.

"Whatever, I still think you're lame," Bakugou grumbled, crossing his arms, but the playful spark in his eyes made it clear he didn't mean it.

"Are we friends now?" Todoroki asked with a slight smile.

"Tch whatever extra." Bakugou huffed, but there was a lightness to his tone that suggested otherwise.

Todoroki smiled, feeling extremely happy that he finally got his childhood friend back. He decided that he was never going to leave him again.

Bakugou noticed him smiling at him and scoffed annoyingly, his cheeks a light pink before walking off back to his dorm. "See you tomorrow Bakugou." Todoroki said before walking into his own dorm.

As Todoroki stepped into his dorm room, he felt a mix of excitement and warmth bubbling within him. It had been years since he and Bakugou had last shared a moment like that, and he missed him a lot. The thought that they could reconnect now brought a smile to his face as he laid down in his bed.

Meanwhile, Bakugou stomped down the hallway, his mind racing. "Stupid Todoroki," he muttered under his breath, but a small grin crept onto his face despite his best efforts to maintain his usual scowl. The way Todoroki had looked at him, that warmth in his voice—it made something flutter in his chest that he wasn't quite ready to confront.

"What the hell is wrong with me?" Bakugou grumbled, throwing himself onto his bed. He stared up at the ceiling, replaying their conversation. The promise they had made as kids resurfaced vividly in his mind. It brought back the memories that they had built together in the past, the memories that Bakugou thought he left behind.

But seeing Todoroki again had ignited something he thought he had buried. "It's just a childhood promise," he reassured himself, but deep down, he knew it meant more than that. "Why do I care so much?"

The next morning, Todoroki woke up with an unusual eagerness. He was determined to make the most of this fresh start with Bakugou. After a quick breakfast, he made his way to the common area, a part of him hopeful that Bakugou would be there.

When he arrived, he found a few of their classmates already gathered: Uraraka, Iida, and Asui were chatting animatedly over their study materials. But there was no sign of Bakugou.

"Hey, Todoroki!" Uraraka called, waving him over. "We were just talking about the training schedule. You should join us!"

Todoroki nodded with a small smile and settled down beside them. "Sure, what's up?" he asked, glancing around, still hoping to catch a glimpse of Bakugou.

"Just planning how we'll tackle the next training session," Iida explained, adjusting his glasses. "It's important we all work together effectively."

As they discussed their plans, Bakugou finally burst into the room, his usual fiery energy trailing behind him. "What's all this?" he demanded, his eyes narrowing as he surveyed the scene.

Todoroki couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement at Bakugou's arrival. "We're just going over the training schedule. Want to join?"

Bakugou scoffed, crossing his arms. "I don't need a schedule to kick your asses," he retorted, but there was a hint of amusement in his tone.

"Bakugou, Refrain from using such vulgar language." Iida said in his firm strict manner, pushing his glasses back.

Bakugou rolled his eyes dramatically. "Shut up four eyes, I'm just saying what everyone's thinking!" He stepped further into the room, and the atmosphere shifted as his fiery presence filled the space.

Before Iida could respond to Bakugou, Kirishima walked into the common room and wrapped his hand around Bakugou's shoulder, that made Todoroki feel a bit uneasy, and he hated this feeling. 'What's wrong with me' Todoroki wondered.

"Calm down Bakugou, you are not being very manly right now." Kirishima said with a smile on his face which annoyed Bakugou. He shoved Kirishima's hand away from his shoulder and glared at him.

"Do you wanna die shitty hair?!" He yelled furiously, tiny explosions forming in his hands.

"Bakugou, Stop it." Todoroki said, a serious look on his face.

Kirishima raised his hands defensively, backing away slightly, but he kept his friendly smile. "Whoa, easy there man! I was just trying to lighten the mood."

Bakugou's explosions fizzled out, his anger dissipating as he noticed Todoroki's intense stare. There was something in Todoroki's voice that made Bakugou pause, but he didn't know what.

"Whatever" He mumbled and walked out the common room with his hands in his pocket.

"Woah Todoroki, how'd you get Bakugou to calm down like that?? That was so manly" Kirishima said, his tone filled with surprise and admiration.

"I'm actually not sure." Todoroki said, a little confused at what just happened.

Kirishima clapped his hands together excitedly. "Anyways, do you guys wanna have a sleepover?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Midoriya's face lit up at the suggestion. "That sounds like a great idea! We could use a break from all the training and studying."

Asui nodded in agreement. "It would be nice to relax and spend some time together outside of our usual routines."

Iida adjusted his glasses, considering the idea. "A sleepover could be beneficial for team bonding. As long as we maintain our focus and discipline, I see no harm in it."

Todoroki glanced around at his friends, a slight smile forming on his lips. "Sure," he said simply.

"Alright!! I'll see you guys in my dorm at 5. Don't forget to bring snacks!" Kirishima exclaimed, his excitement palpable.

As everyone dispersed to gather their things, Todoroki found himself looking forward to the evening. This was his first sleepover after all.
