Sada Tumhara: Ranch Ka Manna♡

Chapter 5

Dandiya night tonight will have to be the best night l will ever have. As l get dressed in my room; l admire my outfit when l put on my orange lehenga's with a pink top. I put on my dupatta (Well the dupatta given to me by Ranch.) My hair is tied up using my paintbrush when l also put on the gold maang tikka; l also put on my anklets when matching bangles. I come downstairs when l start dancing when l get happy my entire family looks so happy dressed up together.

"Mama how do l look" I ask

"Like a princess wow you are looking amazing and l hope you dance the night away today " Mama says

"Dada's princess looks amazing" Dada says

"You all look amazing so let's go and enjoy a night full of dance" I say when l go to the car.

When we arrive the music is playing loudly and we are welcoming with some Mango Frooti when we drink that. As l walk in my eyes just want to find Ranch but alas he is nowhere to be seen. Where could he be right now?

I walk into the room and go looking for Ranch. Aarav and Ayaan dance with some of the females. I notice Presha and Manit look like they are having an argument. I walk over to Presha when l notice her crying.

"Presha" I say

"Manna; why are you here??" Presha says

"Are you okay?" I ask "You don't seem to be happy"

"I am very happy" Presha says

"Tell what is wrong Presha" I ask

Presh goes to her room when l follow her and she tries to close the door. When l force it open  and go inside and close the door behind me.

"What is going on Presha?" I ask "this isn't a love marriage"

"Well it is not to say the least; it's a narrative we have created. We can barely even stand each other let alone be together in a room"

"So why are you even marrying?" I ask

"My family want me to marry him. Papa is having alittle bit of trouble and to get him out of it Mama fixed my marriage to the Malhotra family in exchange for me to marry their son  and help my Papa in the business. My family is going through alot right now and if my marriage is the only thing that can help it then so be it" I say

"Presha I have no words for you" l say

"Actually the thing is me and Manit don't even see eye to eye; how will this even work is something l ask myself all day everyday. We can't even stand each other and we are to marry each other" Presha says

"Maybe marrying is not the answer" l say

"We have come this far; what is the point of turning back. All the money has been spent I might as well go through with it all" Presha says as she gets up "the Dandiya night has started if I cannot have the marriage of my dreams l should at least have the wedding of my dreams"

Presha leaves the room and l follow here. As we leave the house I bump into Ranch who looks at me and smiles.

"Hi!" I say

"Ranch you are here" I say

"Of course I am here how could l not be here" Ranch says

The dhol starts to play when Ranch takes my hand and we start to dance together to the beat of the drum. Many people join us as we enjoy this time together. The dhol stops when Ranch and l go and get something to drink.

"People are watching us; maybe we should stand alittle closer to each other" Ranch says

"My parents; I don't wish to keep then in a awkward position; I mean you are a boy and l am you know..." I say looking away
