The early morning comes when l realise I am back at home in our bed. Ranch is nestled between my breast and his hand on my stomach. I move alittle when Ranch wakes up and looks at me.

"Where you going Amma" he says which makes me blush "our children will call you their Amma"

"I think l prefer Mama" I say

"Amma just hits different" he says as he kisses my hand "go take a shower and hurry up okay remember we are having a prayer for the baby today"

"Ranch I never learn how to pray; how did your mother pray?" I ask

"You want me to teach you how to pray" l ask

"Yes like to the Gods and all that" I say "we don't have a temple yet in this house"

"Papa closed it after Mama died. He didn't want any reminder of her" Ranch says

"Oh right but you will teach me right" I say

"My mama loved Ganpati Pappa; she always believed he would remove all the problems in a persons way. She loved him alot" Ranch says

"Can we make our own status Ranch just the two of us" I say

"I have been thinking Manna ever since you told me about your pregnancy news l have thought about one thing only a simple life for our children. You would be a mother who stays at home in our cute little house that has a temple and you would just be an amazing mother to our children while you continue to paint. I would always make sure our family is always well feed and taken care of. We would have a house that is just full of warmth and love" Ranch says

"Ranch we will have all that maybe once we come back from the veneration we can look at a few houses together. Just you and l" I say

"Okay but go and get ready" Ranch says

I get up and shower when l brush my teeth. Ranch showers and l get pick out my light blue kurta pajama my hair is tied into a bun when l look into the mirror and Ranch comes out the shower when l look at him I the put on my wedding bangles this time only the golden bangles Ranch gifted me; he then get ready in his light blue kurta top and he comes to me. He then puts my anklets on me. He gives puts my mangalsutra around my neck and puts the vermilion on my head. I stand up to got and take my scarf when we both go downstairs together.

We take his car he drives us to a mountainous area where he sees Pandit. Ranch and l look sit in his house and we sit together and we perform the veneration for our upcoming child. While pray I notices how Ranch was holding the small point of my pallu when l smile and continue the prayer.

The Pandit ties a thread to my hand when we both leave the house. Ranch looks at me and smiles.

"Remember I spoke about a house?" Ranch says

"Yes you did" I say

"Mrs Singhani I want us to go their right now" Ranch says

"Where is it?" I say

"You and l will be taking a road trip together as a married couple just us 2 on the road. We haven't had a proper honyemoon so why not go now"

"But I would need some clothes" Ranch says

"You don't ever have to stress as my wife" Ranch says "I have clothes for you in my boot okay"

I get into the car and leave with Ranch who is plays music.

"Ranch I am very happy that l am your wife you know" I say "have you spoken to your father today?"

Ranch's jaw clenches when he looks at me and then on the road.
