Mei had an inquisitive look.Gaining more items to help her survival could help her immensely.
But 100 points as a little too much, and she cannot over-rely on this system.
It was something she would have to focus on later.
She said grumbling at herself, her current amount of Points is still 0.
She had to do these dailies one way or another.
But for now. She'll have to settle on the wild Squirrels.
Just 5 wouldn't be so hard. Would it?
Back at the Orphanage.
Chiyen sighed and cleaned up the bedding the fox was on.
She expected it to panic but did not assume it would run out so quickly like that.
She internally face palm herself.
"Baobao are you alright? It didn't bite you are anything like that?"
Chiyen knelt down at the little girl who watched the fox recover.
"I'm okay, it was really cute. I wanted to hug it."
Chiyen smiled, giving the child a light pat on the head. She had hoped it could stay for a little longer to entertain the children around. But it was still wild afterall.
Chiyen walked out and similarly spoke with every child who was present to see the animal.
As expected. They all wanted to pet and hug it.
It was unlike anything they've ever really seen. Such a beautiful and elegant looking animal was something they had only ever read about in books.
She had tended to its Wounds the best she could though it seemed there was only the left over blood and the stuck arrow to deal with. Despite looking so bloody the only real injury on its body was the stuck arrow.
She wondered if it had to do with those strange black pills the fox was eating. It was large enough to fit firmly on the palm of her hand.
And it looked similar to the pills immortal cultivators use.
The symbols on the pills no doubt proved it was something man-made.
Not to mention the feeling of calmness that exuded from them. It felt so powerful.
"Knock knock knock!~"
Chiyen stumbled a bit back from the sound of knocking at the front door.
She hurried towards it, opening it gently.
She saw a familiar face and smiled.
"Fenhua!"
Chiyen quickly bowed and showed respect. Clapping her hands together and lowering them along side her bow.
She looked behind her after stand up straight and urged the children to do the same.
"Oh no need Chiyen. I came to drop off another batch the sect was throwing away."
Fenhua lifted her arm up to show a large basket full of leftover food, plants and other nessesities her Sect no longer required.
"I'm curious. Cultivators don't eat food that isn't spiritual. Why do they have so much of this?"
"Ah some brothers and sisters continue to grow plants and vegetables as a side hobby. Selling them or just throwing out some that are about to go bad. Oh and some still provide some food to the outer sects since some non-cultivators still live there. The leftovers are still somewhat alright, they just weren't really sold."
