Valentine's day is coming. Really soon. It is in a week, approximately, and I still don't know how I'll be dressing that day. I wonder if Jules will give me anything, or if it has a dress code.... I don't feel like wearing a pink dress to school, it kinda looks girlie to me... As I'm heading to class, proudly walking through the hallways as I ignore Ann-Marie's hateful glare on me, I notice Addison.
Hey, Addie, how's it going? I ask her, calling out her name
Rather good, actually. I manage to get a perfect note at my written production in Spanish! She comments as she walks me to the science class
Woah, I don't know how to write "I like to eat some delightful cake" in Spanish!
Addison chuckles as we take our respective places in class, saluting Avery, Jessica, and Charlie as we walk by.
Great, learning about planets again! Mumbles Charlie in her beard, leaning back in her chair
Ignoring her comment, I watch Miss Johnson walk in, her high heels knocking the harsh school floor. She carries her books, heading in front of the class.
Open your books at page 156...she mumbles sheepishly yet excitedly, rushing to put on a second layer of bright red lipstick
I glare at her with annoyance, opening my book to the wanted page. She speaks so slowly yet rudely, this annoys me! Replacing my hair behind my ear, I try to pay attention to her as class officially starts.

Jules was absent all day long. A cold or a flu, the teachers say. Mh, I wonder where he got that from. He's been acting quite weird lately. He's been avoiding me and his friends...I don't know if I'm the one making the drama out of it, but it looks troubling.
Hey, Audrey! Do you know how is going Valentine's Day at school? I ask Audrey as she gets out of the class, do we have to dress in pink and red? Are there special wanting to do for that day?
Audrey stares at me with disdain and confusion, then sighs and keeps up a poker face. My classmate curls up a bang of black hair around her finger before responding to me in a twangy voice.
No, you don't have to dress up, but to be honest, most of the students here like to dress in pink. And yeah, dedicated events tend to be more by the end of the school day. Secondary 5 students have slow dance, as there is a letter rally around the school for other students...
I narrow my eyes, wondering what that letter rally Audrey could be talking to me about. She seems to read in my mind because she cuts me from my thoughts, claiming rudely:
You search up a letter from either a concubine or...like, someone, I dunno, around the school, I guess.
"Not pretty clear, but I guess that would be fine" I think to myself as I watch her walking away. Heading to my dance class, I can't help but think about the day.
