The bell rang loudly, marking the start of lunch break. Students filled the air with excited chatter as they hurried out of the classroom, eager for a break from their studies. Some rushed to the playground, while others gathered in small groups to enjoy their lunch.
The silver-haired boy rummaged through his bag, his expression calm as he searched for his lunch. After a moment, a slight frown appeared on his face as he realized it wasn't there. His hands moved through the empty space where his lunchbox should've been.
"Did I leave it at home?" he muttered, a hint of irritation breaking through his usual calm. He sighed, glancing around at the other children who were already busy enjoying their meals.
Kakashi leaned back in his seat, his stomach grumbling softly in protest. He was too proud to ask anyone for help, especially since it was his own fault for forgetting. He crossed his arms, considering if he should just skip lunch and wait until he got home.
Choosing to make the most of his time instead of worrying about his forgotten lunch, Kakashi quietly pushed his chair back and stood up. He left the classroom and headed toward the training ground, the chatter of his classmates fading behind him.
The training ground was quiet and empty, making it the perfect spot for Kakashi to clear his mind. He pulled out a few kunai from his pouch, feeling their familiar weight bring him comfort. Standing in front of a practice dummy, he narrowed his eyes in focus and got into position.
With a quick flick of his wrist, Kakashi threw the first kunai, hitting the target right in the center. A small smirk appeared on his face as satisfaction washed over him. He followed up with the second and third kunai, each hitting their marks without any trouble.
Kakashi focused on his movements, getting lost in his training. He practiced his taijutsu forms, his body moving smoothly with each punch and kick. He pushed himself harder, trying to ignore his hunger and the annoyance of missing lunch.
Breathing heavily from his training, he wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand and sat on the grass to catch his breath. The training ground was quiet, and for a moment, he closed his eyes, letting the calm sink in.
Suddenly, he heard a voice calling his name. He opened his eyes, turning his head toward the sound. A girl approached, her short brown hair swaying slightly, her gentle eyes filled with concern. Kakashi recognized her from his class but couldn't quite remember her name.
"Kakashi-kun!" she called, her voice filled with worry. Slowing as she got closer, her eyes softened at his state. "I thought I'd find you here."
Behind her stood a boy Kakashi knew well—Uchiha Obito, his classmate. His spiky black hair and round goggles, often slipping over his dark eyes, gave him a carefree look. He was energetic and a bit clumsy, which made him stand out.
Obito trailed a little behind the girl, his hands stuffed in his pockets and an expression of mild annoyed expression. He was always the loud one, constantly talking about surpassing Kakashi one day.
