Sam is Going Crazy!

Y/N and Sam returned to college, after briefly meeting Optimus. The ride back was silent. You felt bad for Optimus... he came all this way to ask for your help, but you also felt angry at Sam. How dare he refuse to help Optimus? When all he did was saved their lives. You knew Sam wanted to be a normal teen, but aren't we all not normal? You hear Bee sign sadly feeling a little uncomfortable with the atmosphere. You pat his dashboard gently. Bee hummed at the touch, almost as if thanking you for the comfort. And he pulled up around the corner of the college building, so that we don't make a scene.

You watch Sam get out first as you thanked Bee gently and was about to get out when Bee decides to speak through the radio to you secretly.

"We really need your assistance..."

You sat there staring at the radio as it switches to another station.

"A new threat is coming..."

A...new threat? You think to yourself as Bee continues.

"Please... Be safe..."

You thanked Bee for being so protective. As you pat his dashboard again.

"Don't worry... We will... Thank you Bee." Climbing out the car, you step forward to find Sam talking to his roommate Leo. You turned to find Bee driving off into the distance. Possibly making his way back to Optimus... You sigh only to hear a the beginning of the conversation of Sam and Leo.

"Dude, where did you and your girlfriend go?"

Sam frowns and turns to face you.

"You mean Y/N?" Sam asks while you walk back into the college building. "She's not my girlfriend, she's just a friend..."

The truth to that sting hard. It was as if a crush you loved secretly just brushed it off. Sure you wasn't actually together... But you do love Sam... More then a friend... He was your best friend.

"You went on a date with your friend?"

"Not a date. More like a drive..."

"Still it's a date. I mean she's a girl..."

Sam stood there uncomfortable about the interrogation he was having with a guy he met a few hours ago.

"And she's your friend... Meaning she's your girlfriend."

Sam sighs and walks away as Leo keeps going on about it, walking right behind Sam with jealousy.

A few weeks passed after meeting Optimus again, and everyone was sitting all bored at Professor Colan's explanation about science.

"Space. Time. Gravity."

"Thank you." Replied one student as she finishes her opinion on the subject. You was sitting beside Sam as you fiddle with your own, just thinking about what Bee said earlier.

A threat is coming... Is that what Optimus wanted our help with? He mentioned the government not trusting him...

"Finish that for me. We're going on a journey together, you and I, today. All you... eager, nubile, young minds on the very cusp of adulthood. And I shall be your consort, your guide, your... chaperone into the heart of darkness." You hear the Professor saying as everyone laughs and chuckles with him. "Welcome to Astronomy 101. For what do we know about the stars? Virgo. The virgin. Orion, the great hunter. These are no mere twinkling diamonds for.. lovely maidens to wish upon. No, they are dynamos filled with a throbbing, savage and pent-up energy!"

You didn't knew why but the word Orion made your heart beat and the image of Optimus came into your mind. But why? Why did that word made you think of him in that way...? You thoughts snapped out as you hear Leo, whisper Sam's name in shock. Then the sound of pages being flipped countlessly beside you.

"Sam, Sam."

"Behold the work of Albert Einstein, a professor once, like moi. Energy equals mass...." The Professor continues, unaware of what's happening in the firth or sixth row up. Just then Sam slam the book closed making you jump and raised his hand up causing everyone's gaze upon him and you.

"What you doing? Put your hand down. Put your hand down. Put your hand down."

Professor Colan turns and looks at Sam, you sink in the soft chair and hide your embarrassed face with your book, trying to stop Sam. "Young man, there are no questions until I've reached the climax of my lecture."

"I just finished your book and there's only one problem. Einstein's wrong." Leo looks at Sam then at you. You watch Sam stand up but as you tried to grab his arm with Leo's help to pull him back down and cover his mouth... He slips past you and makes his way down the steps just as everyone continues to laugh at him.

Sam... What are you doing...? You cursed to yourself at how embarrassed you are. Leo leans forward and whispers.

"Wow... Your boyfriend sure is crazy..."

You gave him a glare.

"He's not my boyfriend."

"Right..."

You felt your heart sank as Sam stood in front of the blackboard and took the Professors role. Making drawings along side the Professors, actually working out the answer. "Energy does equal mass times the velocity of light squared in this dimension, but what about the other seventeen? Nobody talks about the other seventeen." Sam said as he twitches his head slightly. Which wasn't like him... "Clear example. Break down the elemental components of Energon, assume a constant decay rate and extrapolate for each of the... [mutters in Cybertronian] fourteen galactic convergences." You sit back up in your seat and leaned closer on your chair at Sam's strange words.

Energon? Is that what they call it? The red and blue liquid... Is that their blood? Is he speaking Cybertronian?

"It took the Sentinel Prime expedition to receive an (stutters] echo on its signal, you wind up with a formule for inter-dimensional energy increase that mass and light alone can't possibly explain."

Sentinel Prime?

Sam stops and turns to face every confused stares within the room. "Come on guys, I can't be the only one in the class who..."

Before Sam could continue, the Professor Colan takes Sam's wrist gently getting his attention. "Young man, I will not be punk'd in front of the dean."

You frown at the Professor's words. Was he trying to be a cool guy to fit with all the other teens? It didn't suit him. You felt bad for Sam to be dismissed and be a laughing stalk, but you also can't help but think about what Sam had said...

Who is this Sentinel Prime? Is he the new threat that Bee was warning about? Is that what Optimus was referring to...?

You didn't know... But one thing was for certain... Another war is about to start...
