Returning Home

You stood on the army ships, watching the silent and calm sea, hearing the waves hit the boat with a gentle breeze in your face. Behind you was your father talking with Sam's parents who was covered in tin foil from the terrifying war that they experienced. You chuckled finding it strange that your father - the only man you know to fight a war before - to be in the state that he was in. But you couldn't blame him. After all, he did almost lost you... More then once... You look around to see the Autobots who all seem to be in their vehicle forms, relaxing. You see Simmons talking with Lennox, and Leo with a cup of water and a blanket around his shoulders. You shake your head and glanced ahead at Sam and Optimus. Talking to each other holding the same pose. With their hands upon their hips and looking out at the sea. You felt your heart soar at the sight.

You slowly stepped forward, making Sam and Optimus to turn to face you. Sam looks from you to Optimus, before smiling and walking back towards Bee. Walking past you with a smile. You stepped towards Optimus, staring up at him. Optimus lowers his hand down for you. You climbed onto his hand with no hesitation. You knew you could trust him. And with no words said, Optimus placed his hand near his shoulder for you to sit up on your usual spot. You placed your hand upon his faceplate as you both stare at each other, then ahead at the sea and the horizon. While Sam hugs Mikaela and kiss. While Bee played Torches by X Ambassadors.

"Our races united by a history long forgotten, and a future we shall face together. I am Optimus Prime And I send this message so that our pasts will always be remembered. For in those memories, we live on." You sat back and let Optimus say his speech. Before making your mind up, that might change your life forever.

"Optimus..."

"Y/N?"

"I... I want to stay with you."

Optimus's optics widen as he glance at you. "Are you sure... What about your future...?"

"I'm sure... I don't want to live without you..."

"Y/N..."

"Please let me stay with you... I don't want to go to college... I want to stay with you... You're my guardian after all..."

Optimus stares into your eyes and smiled his spark linking with yours.

"I am, and I promise. To never leave you, ever again. My sparkmate." Optimus said gently making your spark burn. Optimus rest his head against yours gently. "I must say... Your spark... It feels stronger somehow... Like you're... A Prime..."

You smiled at his words.

"Honestly, I feel stronger."

Sam returned to college, sitting back down upon his seat as the Professor he embarrassed before, looked up and smirked at him. "So glad you could join us, professor Einstein."

Everyone starts to chuckle making him chuckle slightly awkwardly and pick up his pen and open his book.

"Yeah, I was kind of busy. Okay."

Smiling that everything was back to normal. He wished Leo and Y/N all the best in their future. As Leo had left to join Simmons in his takeaway business undercover alien sightings. And Y/N now with Optimus and the other Autobots as a new soldier of NEST. He was happy for them. To be with the one person that they love. And he knew Optimus would keep you safe. He remembered you trying to address this to your father and watching his response to hear his only daughter was going to be working as a soldier fighting against evil and scary Decepticons, risking her own life for mankind. Sam couldn't help but chuckle at the image of your father crying wit tears of happiness and fear. The image of him holding you back tightly as you walked towards the door after packing up your things was replayed in his mind.

He could honestly hear your father moan and try to stop you. Both proud but terrified all at the same time. Maybe holding your leg tightly while you walked and dragged him along the floor. Sam wished you luck. And he knew no matter how far away you were, their friendship won't ever break.
