IS2: KYLE [COMPLETED]

Kabanata 9: Pakay

EVO'S POV

I can't wait for my shift to be over! I can't wait to spend the night with Kyle again and have him take me to heaven. Mayroon na lamang natitirang minuto bago matapos ang trabaho at mag pack-up na. I'm making sure na I have completed my tasks and assignments today para wala nang aabala pa sa amin mamaya. Mahirap na at baka bigla na lamang magkaroon ng emergency o sudden problems.

We were busy the entire day! Siguro dahil back to work na after spending three days for the vacation kaya tambak na naman kami sa trabaho. I did not even finish my lunch dahil nakaka-anim na subo pa lamang ako ay balik trabaho na ulit. Pursigido akong matapos ang mga gawain ko ngayon para walang distraction mamaya.

I haven't seen Carmen or Kyle at work pero sigurado akong hindi pa sila nag-uusap. I saw Carmen went to get coffee in the kitchen area and she still looks a bit down. And I'm pretty sure Kyle is busy with his own work as well.

I also asked her about the progress on her situation with Kyle and it seems like she still has yet to talk to him about it. While Kyle is nowhere to be found, it seems to me that their situation won't be resolved as soon as I thought it would be.

Am I guilty? Hell no!

First of all, I still have no idea why they fought or why they are still not in good terms with each other. Also, I do not have a hold on to Kyle's feelings or emotions. I can't just stop what he's currently feeling and invalidate his emotions, you know?

At tsaka hindi ko rin naman siguro kasalanan kung gustong makipag-sama sa akin ni Kyle kaysa sa girlfriend niya, 'di ba?

He has the free-will to choose what he wants to. He's a grown up who can decide for himself. He is old enough to know what is best for his mental and emotional state. He can also decide what is good for him and who he wants to hangout with.

'Hindi ko naman siya kontrolado, right?'

I mean, maiintindihan ko kung minsan ay ma-frustrate o mainis siya kay Carmen. My best friend has an immature side of her and has tantrums here and there, but she's not that bad. Sumpungin kumbaga. So, mababa ang expectations ko when it comes to people's patience towards my friend. Wala akong objections if ever man na malaman kong may nainis o naiinis dahil sa mga actions at yung way ng pananalita ni Carmen. Adding the fact that her voice tends to reach high pitch may add to the annoyance people feel when they hear her voice.

Namamangha nga ako sa tuwing naiisip ko kung gaano katagal nag-timpi si Kyle na pakisamahan si Carmen nang ilang taon. Her usual childish behavior and attitude tends to get backlash from people who have seen her in that state. It leaves a bitter taste in people's mouths.

'All I'm doing right now is grabbing the chances that are being spoon-fed to me. As simple as that.'

Anyway, my excitement is on the roof! Can't wait to meet him later.

"Bye, see you tomorrow!" Paalam ko sa mga kaibigan.

Isa-isa na kaming nagsiuwian galing work. It's been fifteen minutes after our shift ended. Lahat ay pagod dahil siguro masyadong nasanay ang aming mga katawan sa bakasyon. At sigurado rin akong nabigla ang mga katawan namin dahil sa pag-balik sa trabaho.

It was hell today! Pero because of the excitement I'm feeling, ni hindi man lang ako makaramdam ng pagod!

This will be the first time to have an intimate moment with Kyle na kami lang dalawa at walang pangamba! We don't have to worry about anyone else but ourselves. All we have to do is just enjoy the moment and savor the memories we'll make together.

"Sis, nakapag-book na akong grab," sabi sa akin ni Carmen.

"Ay, sorry, Sis. Bibisita kasi ako ngayon sa kapatid ko kaya hindi ako makakasabay saiyo pauwi," sagot ko naman.
