Alexander's pov

I couldn’t believe I was actually doing this. Liam, my friend, had conveniently avoided this modeling gig with a vague excuse about personal matters. I had a feeling there was something more to it. But I was too tired to care so here I was in disguise, filling in for him.

The audition space wasn’t bad a decent setup, well-lit and organized. Clearly, they took this seriously.

As I scanned the room, my eyes were drawn to the team handling the audition. Four attractive girls were overseeing everything. One in particular caught my eye she had hazel eyes that were strikingly unique and brown hair with subtle highlights.

Our eyes met briefly. She seemed momentarily taken aback and flushed, which struck me as oddly endearing.

I approached her, maintaining a polite but distant demeanor.

"Hello. I’m Alexander Smith. I’m here for the audition. I assume you're the designer?"

She looked up, slightly flustered.

"Oh, hi. I’m Piper. Yes, I’m the one looking for a model."

I nodded, keeping my tone neutral.

"The setup looks adequate. I suppose it’s been a considerable effort."

Piper managed a small smile. “

"Yes, it has. I'm really excited about it. But, um, if you need anything or have any questions, just let me know."

"Thank you"

I replied, with a courteous nod.

"I’ll keep that in mind."

With that, I turned and walked towards the audition area, maintaining a calm, detached demeanor. Piper’s reaction had been interesting, but I had to remain focused. Today was about doing a job, not getting distracted.
