Piper's pov
As Alexander walked out of the photoshoot area, I couldn't help but glance in his direction. His presence lingered in the air, drawing my attention like a magnet. I quickly turned back to my conversation with the others, forcing myself to focus on their words, but it was no use. My thoughts kept drifting back to him.
'He's definitely good-looking'
I admitted to myself, the memory of our brief exchange earlier playing on a loop in my mind. There was something about his aura, something effortlessly captivating, that made it hard to look away. But as my eyes strayed toward him one last time, I caught myself.
'No! I can't fall for him'
My heart clenched as I reminded myself of the truth. I already had someone who held my heart, someone I'd been harboring feelings for long before Alexander ever entered the picture. This crush wasn’t just a fleeting infatuation,it was something deeper, something that had roots in the quiet moments and unspoken words we’d shared. But that person didn't seem to notice me the way I noticed him.
Alexander is just a distraction, I insisted, trying to shake off the pull I felt toward him. Sure, he had a face that could stop traffic, but he wasn’t the one I truly cared about. I could appreciate his looks, admire them even, but that’s all it would ever be. I wouldn't let myself get lost in something that would only make things more complicated.
'It's just his appearance'
I repeated in my mind, my resolve hardening.
'Nothing more'
I sighed quietly, turning my attention back to the conversation at hand. I needed to stay focused not just on my work, but on the person who truly mattered to me. Alexander Smith might have made an impression, but he wasn't the one I loved.
And that was something I needed to remember.
