Piper's pov

After what felt like an endless day of shopping, I finally found the perfect outfit a short crimson red summer dress that made me feel like a walking burst of confidence. My hair was pulled into a high ponytail, and I added a pop of color with bright orange sunglasses. It was a bold choice, but that’s what fashion is all about, right?

I stepped out of the dressing room and did a little twirl.

"What do you think?"

Serena looked up from her phone and grinned.

"Stunning as always."

She immediately snapped a picture.

"You know, you should be the one modeling for your own designs."

"Maybe one day"

I said with a laugh, posing for a few more pictures. Serena was always ready to capture the moment, and I wasn’t one to shy away from the camera.

Iris and Elise watched from the couch, their expressions amused.

"You two are like this every time"

Iris teased.

"It’s like we’re backstage at a photoshoot."

"Hey, you never know when you’ll need a good portfolio shot"

Serena shot back, scrolling through the photos.

"Besides, Piper’s outfits are always worth documenting."

Elise leaned forward, her expression turning serious.

"Speaking of which, have you guys thought about how we’re going to handle the auditions? We need to get the word out fast if we want to find the right model."

I nodded, my excitement bubbling up again.

"We’re going to post the audition details at Olympus High. The fashion department has a bulletin board that everyone checks, so it’s the perfect spot."

Serena’s eyes lit up.

"Ooh, I can design the flyers! They need to be eye catching something that screams, ‘This is your chance to be part of something big.’"

"Definitely"

Iris agreed.

"We need to make sure we attract the right kind of talent. Someone who can really bring Piper’s designs to life."

Elise smirked.

"I have a feeling this is going to be good. We’ll set the audition date for a week from now. That gives us time to get everything in place."

"Perfect"

I said, grabbing my bag.

"And since we’re all here, let’s swing by Ruby’s place to drop off the motorcycle. She’ll take good care of it."

With that decided, we all piled into my car. I slid into the driver’s seat, adjusting the mirrors out of habit before turning the key in the ignition. The engine purred to life, and as soon as I switched on the radio, it filled the car with music.

In the Car

We hadn’t been driving for long when "Party in the U.S.A."

blasted through the speakers. Without missing a beat, I turned up the volume, and we all started singing along.

"I hopped off the plane at LAX, with a dream and my cardigan"

we sang in unison, our voices blending together. The upbeat rhythm was infectious, and soon the car was filled with our laughter and off-key harmonies.

"This song never gets old"

Iris said, bobbing her head to the beat.

"It’s like an instant mood booster."

"Agreed"

Elise chimed in, swaying in her seat.

"But Piper, what’s the plan once we find our model? Have you decided on the theme for the shoot?"

I smiled, keeping my eyes on the road but fully engaged in the conversation.

"I’m leaning towards something bold and vibrant lots of colors, playful patterns. It’s summer, so I want the collection to feel fun and carefree, but with a touch of elegance."

"Sounds amazing"

Serena said, glancing at me with a grin from the passenger seat.

"And with the right model, it’s going to be a hit."

As we drove, the conversation flowed easily between us, shifting from the upcoming auditions to potential locations for the photoshoot. I could feel the excitement building with every idea we tossed around.

After about two hours, we finally pulled up to our destination a sleek, modern penthouse that we had decided to buy together. The building was as glamorous as it gets, with floor to ceiling windows and a view that stretched all the way to the horizon.

"Home sweet home"

Iris said, stepping out of the car and taking a deep breath of the cool evening air.

Elise linked her arm with mine as we headed toward the entrance.

"I still can’t believe we actually did it. We bought a penthouse together. This is insane."

"It’s more than that"

I replied, feeling the weight of the moment.

"It’s the beginning of our new chapter."

We all paused in front of the door, exchanging glances that spoke volumes. This wasn’t just a place to live it was a symbol of everything we were working towards, everything we dreamed of achieving.

"Ready to take on the world?"

Serena asked, her hand on the door handle.

I smiled, feeling a surge of determination.

"Absolutely."

With that, Serena pushed the door open, and we stepped into our new home ready to face whatever challenges and adventures lay ahead.
