Elysia had long realized that Hadeon’s attitude towards her was not infinitely generous and kind. He was never a particularly kind man, but now his obsession was evident. It seemed that the visit to the Fencer estate had been the trigger.

What on earth had been the problem?

Elysia had no idea that behaving as if she might leave at any time was provoking Hadeon.

Hadeon, who was watching Elysia’s darkened expression with a calm gaze, asked in a lazy voice.

“In that sense, don’t you want to see your brother?”

At the word “brother”, Elysia’s head lifted as if a withered flower had come back to life with water.

“Celian?”

Hadeon took something out of his pocket. Elysia took it and read it.

“The train inauguration ceremony…?”

“Yes, the Southern High-Speed Magic Railway connecting the capital and the southern central area is about to open. The ten-year-long construction is finally in its final stages. His Majesty himself has sent a train ticket for the first opening ceremony.”

“His, His Majesty?”

Elysia asked with wide eyes.

“Who else would I call His Majesty?”

Hadeon replied indifferently.

“But what does the train inauguration and a visit to the capital have anything to do with my brother Celian?”

“Look closely at the train schedule. The academy is a stopover. It’s a good opportunity.”

He was right. Feeling a balloon of anticipation swell in her chest, Elysia clutched the train ticket tightly in her hand.

“Are you really giving this to me?”

“Would I be bragging to you about going alone?”

Hadeon replied with a twisted smile. At his permission, Elysia’s face instantly lit up like it was filled with stars.

I can see Celian…

Just thinking about it made dimples appear in her cheeks, and a fleeting smile emerged. Her cheeks, and even her ears, turned red with excitement and unfamiliar happiness. Elysia, unable to contain her sudden surge of expectation and unfamiliar joy, glanced up at Hadeon with a small smile. Then she froze at the expression that flashed across his face.
