The morning I left is the last morning of Misa De Gallo. You were in Hermana Station to pick-up Katrina and George. I insisted that Lucio should come with Santino to keep you company during the drive. I stayed behind to clean up the house.

After the mass, I approached the cellar to pray. The crowd was thin when I came to the side altar, and for a while I was just consumed in prayer with one thought: Thy will be done.

It was never my place to say why or how, maybe not even to understand.

When I opened my eyes, I was in the hospital and Grandmother Sylvia is asleep next to my bed. It was blurry all at first and I can't remember anything. They all said it was a miracle.

It was Christmas Day 2007.
