Inside, I'm terrified and relieved and shocked all at the same time. Seeing her bouts of confusion encouraged me to minimally confabulate the situation. It all seems unlikely that she understands what is going on
We walk towards my house like everything is perfectly normal.
I myself will have no valid explanation, should she ask for truths. Our early morning stroll/ expedition procured more questions than answers. She is not an apparition, that at least is certain. But if she is a ghost, (because what else can she be), then it might be a preserved version of herself long before she was my wife.
But that is totally nonsense, seeing how comfortable and trusting she is towards Lucio and I. This default character instinctively drawn herself to us.
But it was becoming clearer that she has no recollection of what happened in the last 5 years. Do ghosts travel with no consequence to their past lives?
Exhausted from severed thoughts, the easiest explanation would be that all of this is just a dream.
That is the only possible explanation, actually.
