3rd POV
Our scene opens to Prince Zuko, meditating in his personal chambers, the flames of the candles in front of him rising and falling I time with his deep breathing. He's interrupted by the sound of his uncle opening the door. The young prince speaks calmly, not even breaking his meditative stance to look at the door.
Zuko: The only reason you should be interrupting me, is if you have news about the avatar.
Iroh: Well, there is news, Prince Zuko. But you might not like it. Don't get too upset
Zuko: Uncle, you taught me that the sign of a great leader is being able to keep a level head in even the worst of scenarios. Now whatever you have to tell me, I'm sure I can take it.
Iroh: Ok then, we have no idea where he is.
Zuko: WHAT?!
As the prince rages about this information, the soft fires of the candles exploded into small pillars of flame. Zuko turns to glare at his uncle as the old man unfolds a fan.
Iroh: You really should open a window in here.
Zuko snatches the map from bud uncle's grasp and unfolds it, taking in all the locations where there have been many sightings of the avatar.
Zuko: Give me the map!
Iroh: There have been multiple sightings of him, but he is impossible to track down.
Zuko: What do I do, Uncle? He is clearly a master of evasive maneuvers.
y/n POV
Sokka: You have no idea where we're going, do you?
Aang: Well, I know it's around water.
Sokka: I guess we're getting close then.
I lean on the end of the large saddle, gazing out along the endless ocean, my mind wandering for once. My thoughts drift to my past, a subject I have not much knowledge of, admittedly. The last thing I remember is walking through a raging blizzard. I should've frozen to death, but I didn't. But as for why, that's the part that eludes me. I also remember... someone, or something? I'm not sure. It's a pointless endeavor anyways, not that it matters. I must keep looking forward and growing. I'm brought out of my thoughts by the foolish water tribe boy speaking.
Sokka: Quit bugging her, Airhead. You need to give girls space when they do their sewing.
Katara: What does me being a girl have to do with sewing?
Sokka: Simple, girls are better at fixing pants than guys, and guys are better at hunting and fighting and stuff like that. It's just the natural order of things.
