"Agar aap ko chhodna hota to pakadte hi kyu??"smirk on his face

Veda's eyes widened in shock, her mind struggling to process his words. The closeness, his touch, the teasing edge to his voice it all left her speechless, her heart racing faster than even before.

Veda gathered all the courage and said. "Us din food store ke samne aap bkwas kar rahe the, aur aaj badtameezi kar rahe hai." Pretending to stay strong.

Rajveer's eyes twinkled with mischief, a smirk playing on his lips as he leaned in just a little closer. "Badtameezi toh maine abhi shuru bhi nahi ki hai, Veda ji," he replied, his tone get serious.

After hearing Rajveer's bold words, Veda didn't know how to react. Her heart raced uncontrollably, and she was sure Rajveer could hear it too because of how close they were. Her cheeks burning with frustration. "Aap bade besharam aur badtameez hai," her voice is a mix of anger.

Rajveer, completely lost in her eyes, he only give her a smile. Without breaking eye contact, he simply replied, "Hmm," his voice was soft and filled with amusement, as if he was enjoying every second of her flustered state.

Veda was shocked at Rajveer's response. "Aap ko koi fark nahi padta," she asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

Rajveer smiled, leaning in slightly as he said, "Agar aap ke jagah koi aur hota toh yahi mar deta, par aap keh rhi hai isliye jane diya."

Veda's heart skipped a beat, a chill running down her spine as she realized just how dangerous he truly is. She was about to ask "kyu?" but the sound of approaching footsteps outside startled her. Panic set in, and she whispered frantically, "Chhodiye, koi aa raha hai."

Rajveer, still calm, smiled teasingly, "Aane do."

Veda, now visibly panicking, pleaded, "Please, jane dijiye." Her eyes glassy, the fear and pressure getting to her.

Seeing her teary eyes, Rajveer's smirk softened slightly, but his tone still playful. "Chalo, abhi ke liye chhod raha hu, par wada karo ki aaj shaam ko milogi."

Veda hesitated, not wanting to agree. "Thik hai milungi," she finally whispered, her eyes avoiding his.

Rajveer, now grinning like a child, asked gently, "Kaha pe milegi?"

"Mere dhar ke pas mandir hai, waha shaam ko," Veda said quickly, still avoiding eye contact.

Rajveer finally let go of her waist, his fingers brushing against her as he released her. Veda hurriedly left the classroom, her heart still racing, while Rajveer leaned back against the bench with a wide smile on his face, looking down and shaking his head as if savoring the moment.

After college, Veda entered the living room to find her parents looking at some photos while her brother, Vivek, sat drinking tea with a smirk on his face. As soon as she stepped in, confusion filled her as her mother laughed and handed her the photos.

"Some marriage proposals have come for you," her mother said, still smiling.

Veda's heart skipped a beat, and to her surprise, the first thought that crossed her mind was of Rajveer. She quickly shook it off, blurting out, "Vivek bhaiya is older than me, he should get married first."

Her father chimed in, "He says he'll have a love marriage, so we thought we should start looking for you first. Who knows when he'll find the right one for him."

Veda made a face, clearly not thrilled with the idea. Her father patted her head gently and said, "If you love someone, we're ready to meet him. Don't worry."
