Apologies and Awkwardness

"..." Awkward silence spread around the room, Ruth had called everyone into the living room to discuss previous events. After 10 minutes of waiting for anyone to start, Ruth decided to break the silence. "So... Does everyone remember everything now?" Everyone nodded, avoiding eye contact. "Alright... Does anyone wanna say anything?" Asmo raised his hand, grinning sheepishly. "I think I should maybe apologize for my excessive behavior towards Vanja." "Hell yeah, you should," Vee hissed. "Shit got really creepy, especially with Mammon's degrading kink showing." "I already said, I was sorry!" Mammon cried out, hiding his face in his hands. "Yeah and I don't forgive you for it. Levi wasn't as bad but an espresso didn't stop the depresso even once." Levi grumbled while dragging his hood over his head and pulling the strings down. "Honestly?" Anna turned around on her arm chair to the angel-sorcerer-couch. "You trying to dominate the right hand man of the literal king-to-be of hell was also real fun, Simeon." The older angel laughed uncomfortably and even blushed a bit. "Somehow I don't know what I should say to that. I can only say that I was not in my right mind and I sincerely apologize about everything I've said."
Ryu, sitting on a chair backwards, looked at him with a smirk. "Y'know, the fights you had with Luci had rather interesting content. I especially remember those where you told him that he wouldn't be able to trick you again like he did with your father once and Luci's response would always be that you were too simple and predictable so his 'manipulative tricks' would work anyway. So what's up with that?" She grinned mischievously, switching to look at them both. Lucifer cleared his throat. "Let's not talk about that, alright? It happened a long time ago." Simeon immediately agreed. "Yeah, we weren't in our right mind so we dug up things from the past we'd already resolved." Ryu shrugged. "Alright. If you don't wanna talk, I ain't pressing ya. Anyways, I just wanna say, Mephisto mostly ate dirt due to you two bickering like a married couple so he couldn't do anything really." "Is that why he ain't here?" Belphie looked around. "Yeah, I mean it was funny to watch at the beginning but having listened to the same arguement for two whole weeks? It's not that entertaining after a while."
"Do you know what never got old?" Vanja sat up, grinning aim the round, "Watching Ruth be loved roughly through cuddles and food." "For real!" Anna chimed in. "Like, I have no idea how you weren't affected to be annoying!" "I know, it was totally unfair!", Vanja said. "I don't really remember much", Beel said, thinking. "No wonder. Except for when you were at school you either slept or ate", Ryu answered, "Mostly slept, though." "Don't remind me, I have so much work I need to do because I wasn't able to sit down at my desk." "You're seriously worrying about work right now, Ruthi?" Anna shook her head. "You need to relax more." "Back at you", Ruth retorted. "I can almost hear you overthinking every night about the same things. I'm just glad Satan was only affected later on."
"About that", Levi started, having come out of his hood, "anyone know why that happened?" Everyone shook their head. "Wait, what happened?", Luke asked, the angels and sorcerer clearly unaware of recent events."Well", Ryu explained, "Satan never showed sign being affected until a much later point in time and this morning he came out of his room and almost jumped on Luci. In our opinion it was extremely funny." "Yeah, for you", Satan grumbled. He had been grumpy since he'd woken up and no one could really blame him for it. "Please tell me, anyone has a video of that!" Solomon smiled and Belphie held up his phone. "I have it." "Great heavens", Lucifer mumbled and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I won't live that down in the foreseeable future, will I?" "Ha, nope." Vanja grinned. "I'll make sure you're reminded of this at least once a day."
"Apropos video", Ruth suddenly grinned. Asmo squealed. "PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE IT!" Ruth nodded. "Yup, it's beautiful." "Do you have it on a drive?" "Aaaaaall for you, babes." Ruth handed him a usb-drive. "It's the only video on there, knock yourself out." Asmo grabbed it and ran out of the room.
Everyone looked after him. "What's up with him?" Ryu asked, thumb pointing in the direction he left. "As we all know that he's a simp", everyone nodded, "But only a few know that he's a sincere simp only for one person", Luke nodded whilst everyone else looked confused, "I made him a copy of the video I filmed with my body cam when we dis-cursed everyone." Anna blinked at her. "You had a body cam on that whole fucking time? Why?!" Ruth shrugged. "Scientific purpose." Vanja groaned. "Why did I know that would be your answer?", she sarcastically asked and the female shrugged again. "Give me a copy of that, too, though." "Already in your side cupboard."
"Why is he so excited over it, though?" Levi asked, tilting his head. "He's not the type to take fun of others' negative misbehavior." "Well, aside from Mammon's desperate sub-behavior that is", Belphie added, earning a "Hey!" from said demon.
Guiding everyone out the door after discussing the curse some more, Luke slightly held himself back and leant towards Ruth. "So I guess that means our next biweekly meeting will be analyzing that specific scene at the end?" Ruth sighed but grinned down at the small angel. "Most definitely. Tbh, it really creeped me out but Azzi is all for that overpossessive shit. We still need to discuss our plans to make them get together, though, Luke." He waved his hands. "I know I know! I'm on it. I'll talk to Barbatos this week when we have our meet'n'bake." Ruth grinned. "That's all I'm asking for. Bring us some of that cooking, aight?" Luke grinned and walked out the door while waving. "Of course! See ya next time, Ruth!"
When the bunch left, Vanja clapped her hands. "So: See ya the day after tomorrow for the weekly meeting because y'all are assholes?"
