"That table is Italian." Peter sneers

"And so are these boots. Now are we gonna talk interior design and fashion, or are we gonna talk numbers?" The bitch Braedon says. Okay I like her, a little. Peter writes down a number and slides the paper over. Derek is still staring at a pair of aviators looking at his eyes.

"We're asking for you to find Kate not assassinate the president." Peter growls.

"You're hiring me to find Kate before the Calavera, going against them is what's gonna cost you." She crosses her arms. Peter writes a new number, but she rejects it. Derek rips up the paper.

"We'll pay, just find her." Derek says dismissing Braedon.

"We got robbed Derek!" Peter yells.

"Technically, you got robbed. Derek and I have our own money." I state.

"What am I supposed to do? Get a job! My resemay is slightly out dated!" Peter sets his hand on Derek's shoulder. He grabs Peter's wrist and roars, two golden eyes instead of blue. "Well, that's a new look for you." Peter mutters.

"Whatever Kate did to you, it's still happening Derek." I say with a sad tone.

"Sabe!" Derek calls.

"Scott and Stiles need me at school. If you want to talk, come by my place at 6:30." I close the door behind me.

"What about a family murdering ax murderer?" I ask making everyone jump.

"Where the hell'd you come from?" Stiles says catching his breath.

"The rafters, duh!" I reply like it's the most obvious thing.

"So, anyways they don't want us getting involved." Scott continues what he was saying.

"There's a family murdering ax murderer out there!" Stiles whisper yells.

"I don't have family anymore so I don't have to be worried." I scoff.

"Derek." Kira points out.

"He's dying anyways." I mutter looking at the ground hoping nobody heard.

"How do you know?" Scott keeps his voice low so nobody else hears.

"His eyes, their different. That only happened when something happens with your past, or when you're dying slow enough that it needs to take your power so you don't heal." Scott's face drops. I peek through the hair in my face to see that he's worried for me. "Don't pity me. I've lost enough people to where I've learned to get over it." I say louder before heading to class.

God, I hate being the new girl, not only that, but I'm only a freshman and it's the second semester. I wish I never enrolled in school, I could be at home watching TV, or eating nachos and laughing at people who are clumsy. I glance up for a moment and cute guy my age walks in the classroom and sits beside me. I half-smile at him. I know I don't seem like the shy type, but I am. The only reason that I was so bold with the others is because I was acting tougher than what I am. Which I do, a lot.

"Hey." He says.

"Hey." I pull a small piece of hair behind my ear.

"I'm Liam." He introduces himself.

"Sabe." I return favor.

"You're the new girl aren't you?" Liam asks.

"Yeah, you're not from around here either I'm guessing."

"This is my first day."

"Me too."

"Ever seen lacrosse?"
