LASABERA

So what if I'm cooped up in this stupid holding cell. They can't see me anymore, unless they open the door. I broke the cameras, unless they snuck more in. They don't know me very well I'm guessing. The door barely opens anymore, the only thing that I really have to do is taunt the others, or do whatever when they leave. There's always someone on guard though. When they leave, I work out, sit-ups, push-ups, chin-ups on the door frame, sometimes I sing to myself, braid my hair, they let me draw and paint, but that's about it. They like to profile my vague drawings.

I mainly use black, the dark reds and blues, the dark colors, other than what I drew yesterday, it was mostly dark, other than the eyes, and teeth. They think I'm crazy, I've heard them say it. Never when I taunt, when they stand guard, you can hear them on the phone. Liam still has hope for me though, he and Deaton are the only ones. Derek gave up a few days ago, Stiles never had hope, neither did Malia, Scott and Kira had some, Lydia gave up when Derek did. I don't know why they think that I'm crazy. I'm perfectly fine, never better actually. The only ones that actually come in the room are Deaton, Liam, and Derek.

Liam came in earlier, it was nice. We talked, nobody was around like they usually were, it was just the two of us. We kissed for the first time in what seems like forever. That escalated, didn't get too far though. He said he would've stayed longer if his dad wasn't taking him out to the movies. He left a few minutes ago, since then I've been painting. I haven't really been able to focus enough to do anything really. I'm just surprised I've managed this long.

"All you have is your fire, and the place you need to reach. Don't you ever, tame your demons, but always keep them on a leash."

"Why do you keep singing that?" Deaton asks from the door.

"It's generally the only thing I can think about. That song. It almost acts as an anchor, but then again, it also can make it stronger." I reply not taking my eyes off the canvas.

"No, it means more to you, each line of the refrain has a significance to you." He states.

"'All you have is your fire.' That's the power. 'And the place you need to reach.' Outside this room. 'Don't you ever tame your demons.' Don't stop it from happening. 'But always keep them on a leash.' But keep it under control."

"Well if you can keep your demons on a leash, you can leave the room, just not the building."

"You know after I manage to get out of this room, I'll manage leaving. I'm a flight risk Deaton, let me out there and I'll fly away."

"Then have fun LaSabera, after all your boyfriend and I are the only ones that have hope for you."

"All you have is your fire, and the place you need to reach. Don't you ever tame your demons, but always keep them on a leash." I take the canvas and hand it to the veterinarian. He walks out with it locking my door behind him. I can't get out anyways, mountain ash, Deaton breaks the seal long enough for Liam then breaks it again for when he leaves. I'll manage, always do. "Don't you ever tame your demons, but always keep them on a leash."

"She did this?"

"Yes."

"Then she just handed it to you."

"Yes."

"Why?"

"I have no idea."

"That's sounds promising."

The art of simply eavesdropping, I can't intervene just yet.

"I can assure you one thing, we can help her, but it requires a sacrifice."
