Shuichi was frozen in place, mind racing in desperation to think of an excuse, eyes focused solely on the clothes. He hadn't realized how obvious the blood was, even against the black fabric, body beginning to shake in fear. His eyes darted to his uncle's, seeing fear in his as well. That's when Shuichi's disappeared, anger forming at the violation of privacy. His body shook as he took a few steps forward, taking in how his uncle tensed up, quickly standing.
"What are you doing," Shuichi asked, voice low. "How did you find that."
"Shuichi," his uncle said, trying to hide the shakiness in his voice. "I'm the one who will be asking questions. I want you to explain where all this blood came from." His uncle picked up the clothes, both his hands wearing gloves.
"How did you find that?" Shuichi raised his voice, taking a few more steps further.
"Do not yell at me. I can have you arrested right now if you don't answer me. If you don't tell me where this blood came from, I will-"
"Where do you think? It's not my blood, if that's what you're asking." Shuichi tore the clothes out of his uncle's hands, throwing them to the floor. "How did you find them? I had them under my other clothes. I'm the one that does laundry around here, so don't pretend like that's what you were going to do. Answer my question right now!"
His uncle smacked Shuichi and then pushed him to the ground. "This is my home and I'm allowed to do whatever I want here. You want to know how I found it? After hearing about your stalking activities, I put cameras in your room yesterday. And what did I see? You sneaking out and then coming home with blood on your clothes. Surprise surprise, I get a call about someone going missing last night."
Shuichi clenched his fist, mind once again scrambling on what to do. He should've known his uncle was planning something when he was in his room yesterday. But cameras were the last thing he'd assume. He tried to stand up but his uncle kicked him back down.
"You're the reason so many people are missing, aren't you? What did you do to them? Where are the bodies?"
Shuichi couldn't help but begin to laugh, not stopping even when his uncle kicked him again. "You want to know where I put the bodies? You really want to know?"
His uncle narrowed his eyes, putting his foot against Shuichi's throat but not pressing down yet. "Tell me right now."
Their eyes met, Shuichi's showing excitement as he gleefully said, "You took all the food with you yesterday. Why don't you do a little test on the meat?"
His uncle's eyes widened as he backed up, beginning to gag as the words sunk in. Shuichi was laughing like a maniac, comparing himself in his head to Nagito, making him laugh even more with happiness.
"Oh, how I've waited to see despair on your face."
His uncle tried glaring at him but was overtaken by throwing up, making Shuichi laugh again. While his uncle wasn't looking, Shuichi calmly walked up to him, waiting till he was done puking to push him to the ground. His mind raced with all the things he could do right now, a wide smile on his face as he towered over his uncle. However, the moment soon came to an end as sirens were heard nearby, cars parking outside the house. His eyes widened as fear took over, quickly backing away from his uncle as he scolded himself out loud. Of course his uncle wouldn't just try talking things out. This was nothing but buying time, footsteps being heard as officers were exiting their cars.
He ran for the window, his uncle attempting to grab his leg to stop him. However, Shuichi immediately kicked him to the face, jumping out the window and down the street. He'd need to be smart to lose them, ducking behind other people's back yards and jumping behind a fence into a small woods area. But he didn't stay there long, knowing that'd be one of the first places they'd look for him. He did his best heading in the direction of his secret hideout while staying concealed by the trees.
